Analysis report of Feedback on Curriculum Design from Stakeholders

(AY:2020-2021)

Feedback from Students:

The department has formal and informal mechanisms to obtain feedback from stakeholders through various committees, associations, organization, etc. The suggestions and feedbacks of stakeholders were discussed in BoS meeting and got approval in Board of studies, Academic council and made the approved changes in the syllabus.

Students Need tough practical list. Don't include C language in art of programming rather than C include some

techniques regarding programs and include some awesome topic like development

of logic, brainstorming in program ete.

Dijkstra algorithm and Krushkal's algorithm should be added to the Discrete

Mathematics syllabus.

In Java Programming, add advance topies like lambda expressions should be added,

and focus must be on new concepts like multi-threading & collection framework

and J-frame and NetBeans should be added to the course.

Feedback from Faculties:

In Data Communication and Networking, Advanced topics like IP Addressing can be

included.

In Java Programming, should add more real-life practical aspects.

In Computer Networks, we can remove the concepts of Data link layer as students are

learning those concepts in 3rd semester (DCN). and we can add the security concepts to

aware students regarding the concepts of networking and security are co-related.

In Cloud Computing, more container topics can be added.

In Artificial Intelligence, New Topics are to be added to the syllabus.

Feedback from Employers:

May upgrade Technical Contents of Technical Subjects in relevance to Industry New

Requirements In Bloch chain Technology subject, More Block Chain Frameworks can be added.

Some additional practical is also included in Practical List.

NLP should be included in CS341 Artificial Intelligence. Reinforcement Learning can be added as a topic in CS341 Artificial Intelligence.

CS372 Advanced Web Technology Frameworks to develop and deploy APls should be

added. Suggestions are discussed in Board of Studies Meeting (Attached in Annexure - ).
