APPLICATION GUIDELINES The Adelaide Crows Children’s Foundation was established in May 2005, to support our community with a focus on children in need. To date over $1.2M has been granted to worthy projects supporting children in need, in addition to our AFC Community Programs delivering a schools wellbeing campaign to 40,000 primary school children and the funding of several Indigenous Programs encouraging students to complete their high school education. The Foundation will grant up to $100,000 per year to support sick and disadvantaged children across South Australia, through health, education and welfare programs. We will look to partner with 3 children’s charities with a major grant of $50,000 and two lessor amounts preferable. The Crows Foundation will accept applications for funding for Season 2018 from October 1 to October 31, 2017. The Crows Children’s Foundation Board will access all applications in January 2018, with successful applicants to be announced at the Club’s Season Launch. The following guidelines must be adhered to: Applications from charitable / not for profit organisations are encouraged • The Crows Foundation assists children up to 18 years of age Applications can be made for equipment purchases and to fund health, welfare and education programs • Applications will not be considered where alternate funding sources are available • For capital expenditure two independent quotes must be included in the application • The Crows Foundation does not fund research projects • Applications will not be considered for retrospective funding Projects should reflect a high standard of integrity and identify the specific area of the community who will most benefit from assistance Projects must be undertaken as a “joint venture”, utilising the existing infrastructure of the applicant to coordinate and promote the funding of the project in conjunction with the Crows Children’s Foundation. • Where applicable, GST must be included in the total value of funding sought. afc.com.au
