Selection Criteria

• Operate a 3-6 month long program• Give out some sort of seed capital to founders• Take a small amount of equity (usually ~6%) and overall have terms that

are favorable to entrepreneurs• Take no more than 5-12 companies at a time• Mentorship-driven: surround those companies with 40-80 mentors• Have funding for a two year runway• Have physical space available for their program • Have a strong management team (generally entrepreneurs themselves)• Run at least one program.

• MD Calls:– to learn from different accelerators about how they run their program– Share what resources or management tools being used– No accelerator program is identical

• Regional meetups and MD conferences– Opportunity to meet and network with other accelerators– Learn from each other

• GAN Wiki– Pitch tips and example pitches– Templates, presentations, directory lists, checklists, etc.

Program Overview

• Located in Seoul, Korea. Started in Dec of 2012.

• Program runs for 3 months; 2 times a year.

• $25,000 investment for 6%.

• Each class we select 8-10 companies. Have focus on global expansion

• Each company are assigned 4-6 mentors each

• Hold weekly meetings for 2 hours each every week

• Culminates with a Demo Day

• Economic landscape has changed. Cheaper than ever to start a company

• It’s hard, numbers are against us.
