AP Sarva Siksha Abhiyan – Prakasam District “Badipilustundi” programme (15-06-2016 to 21-06-2016) As per the instructions of the State Project Director, APSSA, Hyderabad, “Badipilustundi” program was conducted from 15 th June to 21 st June 2016 in the district in a great manner by involving all the heads of line departments, Sectoral Officers, Tahsildars, MPDOs, MEOs, HMs and teachers of all schools under the supervision of the District Education Officer and the Project Officer, special drive was conducted for enrolment of OSC. The DEO & PO given instructions to Field level functionaries to put all efforts for enrollment of school age children (6-14years) into regular schools. Objectives: “Badi Pilustondi” campaign is launched with the following objectives. 1. All children in the age group of 6-14 years shall be enrolled in the schools. There shall be no dropouts/ never enrolled children in any village. 2. No child shall be employed as child labour. 3. School should have the high quality infrastructure. The minimum requirement like., number of class rooms, toilets, drinking water etc. as defined in the RTE Act shall be fulfilled in all schools. 4. Quality education shall be imparted in all schools. 5. The schools shall also impart about the environmental issues like. Tree Plantation, Water Harvesting etc., to child. 6. Children shall be provided with excellent quality mid-day-meal. Mid-day- meal shall be provided in adequate quantity as per norms. 7. The mid-day-meals shall be prepared in hygienic environment and the hot mid-day-meal shall be served to all children. 8. All children shall be provided with entitlement like., Text Books, Uniforms as per the time schedule. 9. All children shall be imparted with the quality education, regular monitoring and continuous evaluation of the children learning outcomes and regulation of teachers will be ensured. 10. All Adults who are illiterates shall be made literates in the coming four years to achieve 100% literacy. While children below 14 years will be encouraged to enroll in schools, dropouts above 14 years can avail Open School system. 11. There shall be transparency in implementation of all the programs and in incurring expenditure at schools.

  • For monitoring of day wise activities District level with sectorial officers

    and mandal level committees were constituted with Tahasildar, MPDO & MEO.

    The project officer APSSA conducted press meet about the program on

    14-06-2016 and allotted divisions to sectorial officers to coordinate action with

    mandal teams from 15.6.2016 to 21.6.2016.

    15.06.2016:: Commencement of Badi Pilustondi Programme

    Hon'ble District Collector, Smt Sujata Sarma launched District Level Badi

    Pilustondi Inaugural Program at ZPHS Kothapatnam. District Educational

    Officer, PO, SSA, RDO-Ongole, D.D. Adult Education, J.D.Agriculture,

    MPDO, Tahsildar and local public representatives MPP, ZPTC, Sarpanch,

    and MPTC also participated in this program. Around 1000 children

    attended in this program. On this day entire hostels & KGBV schools

    information released by Hon'ble Collector for the benefit of parents and

    community at large. Thereafter, the identified out of school children also

    formally joined in regular schools. In all mandals inaugural program of Badi

    Pilustondi was conducted by MEOs involving other Manda Level Officers like

    MPDOs, Tahsildars etc., Uniforms and NT Books distributed to the newly

    enrolled and OSC children in this program.

  • 16.06.2016: BadiUtsavam

    All Dy.Educational Officers, Sectoral Officers of SSA, Meos & HMs of

    all the schools participated in Badiutsavam. In this programme Rallies of

    children and teachers organized in many villages to cause wide publicity of the

    program and also conducted Grama Sabha under the chairmanship of grama

    surpunch to motivate parents to admit children back to school. Mandal Level

    Officers like Tahsildars, MPDOs are also participated.

  • 17.06.2016 :: Balika Utsavam

    All Sectorial Officers of SSA, Mandal Teams consisted by MRO, MDO& MEO, HMs of

    all the schools participated in Balikautsavam. In this program various competitions

    like Easy writing, Elocution, Songs, Musical Chairs etc., conducted to Girl Children at

    KGBVs and schools. Rallies also conducted. Prizes were distributed for meritorious

    girl children.

  • 18.06.2016: A day for Children with Special Needs

    RJD of school education, Sectorial Officers of SSA, Mandal Teams constituted

    with MRO, MPDO& MEO, and HMs of all the schools participated in CwSN Day.

    In this program conducted rallies, various competitions like Throw Ball, Musical

    Chairs etc., conducted to CwSN Children at Bhavitha Centers & all Non-IERC

    Centers. On this day awareness programs conducted to parents and explained

    about concepts of inclusive education since it is observed that children dropout

    because of special problem like low vision, deaf & dumb, dyslexia etc. Prizes were

    distributed for best performing children. Hon'ble MLA Martur Sri Eluri

    Sambasivarao inaugurated Additional Class Room at MPPS Thanda Martur.

  • 19.06.2016 :: Conduct of VidyaSadassu

    DEO, Dy.Eos ,all Sectoral Officers of SSA, Mandal Teams constituted with MRO,

    MPDO& MEO, HMs of all the schools participated in Vidyasadassulu. In this

    program organized mandal level Vidyasadassulu. Officials explained about the

    facilities provided by the Govt. for good education like i.e. highly qualified

    teachers, free text books, two pairs of uniforms, and mid-day meal for the

    development of Schools and also explained the roles & responsibilities of SMC

    members and parents of the children.

  • 20.06.2016: Student Day

    Hon'ble MLA KAndukur, PO(SSA), all Sectorial Officers of SSA, Mandal Teams

    constituted with MRO, MPDO& MEO, HMs of all the schools participated in

    School Day in different mandals. In this programme organized meetings in all

    schools and also educated children on RTE Act - 2009. Conducted rallies,

    elocution and essay writing competitions on I will complete at least 10th class

    and achieve higher course. Issued certificates to the best performars in the

    competitions. Joined out of school girls in KGBVs.

  • 21.06.2016: A Day with Community

    PO(SSA), Dy.Eos, all Sectoral Officers of SSA, Mandal Teams constituted with

    MRO, MPDO& MEO, HMs of all the schools participated in Community Day

    (Sahapankthi Bhojanam) Program in different mandals. In this program

    organized Sahapankthi Bhojanalu in all schools and also educated children on

    unity in diversity, integrity and fraternity. Local Community leaders were also

    invited to the program.
