PRAYER OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY (in unison) Dear Lord, as we come together today, we experience what it is to love you and to love others. There are times when we become inward focused and attempt to isolate ourselves from your love. Forgive us, Lord. Help us draw closer to one another and closer to you. May we know that you accept us continuously through your renewing love.

L: Let us now pray together the prayer that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught us:

3

P: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Our journey From Inside to Outside: Exploring Spiritual Disciplines continues this week Tuesday, February 28, at 10:00 a.m in Souers Hall (we will not be meeting on Wednesday due to the Ash Wednesday service). We will be focusing on the disciplines of meditation and submission, which, like all the spiritual disciplines, are designed to help us live with purpose and meaning. The more we celebrate and practice the disciplines, the richer our relationships will become with God and others. Please bring a Bible and something to write with if possible. Next week Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8 we’ll explore and discuss the disciplines of simplicity and celebration.
