Thin client actions

Navigates backward or forward, opens in a separate Safari browser, or closes the embedded thin client.

Select active revision

For current item, displays item revisions, and allows selection of the active revision.

Show shelfLets you drag and drop items into a temporary folder accessible at any time within Teamcenter Mobility™. Can be used to create links between two objects located in different lists.

Show more actions(nondataset)

Opens the current object in the thin client.E-mails the object; the owner of the object is the default addressee.For the current object, displays the Submit to Workflow Process dialog box.Loads all the attachments on the current object.

Show more actions(when a dataset is selected)

Creates a copy of a current dataset in the Newstuff folder.Lists options to open the current dataset in another application.Saves current dataset to Photo Album.

In favorites Denotes the current object as being a favorite. Tap the object to remove it from the Favorites list.

Denotes the current object as not being a favorite. Tap the object to add it to the Favorites list.

Show available reports

Displays the available reports for the current object.

Add report to… (only when a report is selected)

Shows a menu to allow adding the current report to the Tasks List or Changes List tabs.

Refresh Accesses Teamcenter and refreshes the current display with any updates.

Server settings

Color: Teamcenter is connected. Gray: Teamcenter is not connected.

Tap to display connection status, offline cache settings, server policies, Teamcenter Mobility details, link to the Help and Support website, change Group/Role and to Login/Logout.• If the iPad can access the Internet, the Teamcenter Mobility Help

and Support website may be available, even if your Teamcenter site is not connected.

• If you plan to work without a connection to your Teamcenter site, set the Offline Cache option to ON to download all data related to objects you view; you can continue working after the Teamcenter site is no longer connected.

NOTE: When you run the offline cache, wait for the activity indicator to disappear before exiting the Teamcenter Mobility app.

HomeBy default, includes your Mailbox, My Saved Searches and Newstuff folders. The Home folder in the Teamcenter Mobility app contains the same objects as your Home folder in the thin client and rich client.

Tasks

Lists tasks assigned to you in Perform or Track sections. • If you sign off on a task when the Teamcenter Mobility app is not

connected to Teamcenter, the task is placed in an Offline Completed section.

• A numeric badge displays the quantity of the past-due tasks in your Tasks list.

• When you can perform a task, a button is available beneath the task information.

Changes

Lists change items and displays a pie chart graphic. • The change folders in the Teamcenter Mobility app are the same folders

displayed in Teamcenter rich client and contain the same objects.• A Teamcenter administrator can configure a category issue count to

display a numeric badge.

FavoritesLists items identified by you as favorites for easy access.

NOTE: These are the same items as are displayed in the thin client and in the rich client.

HistoryLists recently accessed items.

NOTE: This is local to the application.

Reports Lists Scheduled Report Snapshots and Summary Reports and displays the Reports Dashboard.

Search

Displays the Search box at the top of the list pane.Search is available both online and offline.OnlineSearch input retrieves objects from Teamcenter based on the object name, object description or item ID. For example, a search on mirror returns objects (up to the maximum number specified in the Teamcenter Mobility app settings) that contained mirror in any of the following:• Item name, such as SR002_546_sv_mirror.• Item description, such as part SR002_546 standard vanity mirror.• Item ID, such as L27A_003_mirror_sv.OfflineSearch retrieves workspace objects from the Teamcenter iPad cache based on either the object name or description.

FilesLets you display:• Files that have been opened in Teamcenter Mobility.• Files that have been imported into Teamcenter by Teamcenter Mobility.

Allow Self-Signed SSL Certificates Default is ON.

Logout When Backgrounded

Default is OFF.Set to ON, Teamcenter Mobility logs out whenever placed in the background.

By default, this option is set to ON in the free version of the app and cannot be set to OFF.

Clear Cache on Logout

Default is OFF.

Set to ON, Teamcenter Mobility clears the stored cache on logout.

Check Timestamp on Refresh

Default is ON.

Set to OFF, Teamcenter Mobility always retrieves the selected object from Teamcenter, even if the last-modified timestamp on the client matches the last-modified timestamp in Teamcenter. This ensures that changes that do not impact the last-modified timestamp are updated in Teamcenter Mobility without a manual refresh.

Auto-refresh TasksDefault is Every 10 Minutes.

Set to OFF to turn off auto-refresh.

Auto-refresh ChangesDefault is Every 10 Minutes.

Set to OFF to turn off auto-refresh.

Max Search ResultsDefault is 500.

Altering this value can impact performance.

Show

Default is all ON.

Show (ON) or hide (OFF) each of the displayed Tabs and their related functionality.
