Name of the Project : Hydraulic
excavator
DESCRIPTION: Excavators (Hydraulic
Excavators) are heavy construction
equipment consisting of a boom, dipper (or
stick), bucket and cab on a rotating
platform known as the "house". The house
sits atop an undercarriage with tracks or
wheels. They are a natural progression
from the steam shovels and often
mistakenly called power shovels. All
movement and functions of a hydraulic
excavator are accomplished through the
use of hydraulic fluid, with hydraulic
cylinders and hydraulic motors. Due to the
linear actuation of hydraulic cylinders,
their mode of operation is fundamentally
different from cable-operated excavators
which use winches and steel ropes to
accomplish the movements.

Name of the Project : Multi Storage
Parking System
DESCRIPTION: A multi-storage car
park (also called a parking garage, parking
structure, parking ramp, parking building,
parking deck or indoor parking) is a
building designed for car parking and
where there are a number of floors or
levels on which parking takes place. It is
essentially a stacked car park.

Name of the Project : DRONE
DESCRIPTION: An unmanned aerial
vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a
drone, is an aircraft without a human pilot
aboard. UAVs are a component of an
unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which
include a UAV, a ground-based controller,
and a system of communications between
the two. The flight of UAVs may operate
with various degrees of autonomy: either
under remote control by a human operator,
or fully or intermittently autonomously, by
onboard computers.

Name of the Project : 3600 Rotating
Vehicle
DESCRIPTION: Modern development
and economical progression of Indian
society resulted in increase of cars on rods.
Due to space constraints, car parking is the
major problem faced in most parts of the
country. Present study aims for
development of a system to reduce the
turning radius of a car. The indigenously
developed system consists of Ackerman
steering and various mechanism with
arrangement of the various kinematics
links. In this system at first vehicle is
stopped and wheels are then turned in the
required direction with the help of steering
system. It has turning radius nearly equal
to negligible of the length of car itself. This
system can be useful in better parking,
traffic jam, back turning on narrow roads,
etc.

Name of the Project : Lift Mechanism
DESCRIPTION: An elevator or lift is a
type of vertical transportation that moves
people or goods between floors (levels,
decks) of a building, vessel, or other
structure. Elevators are generally powered
by electric motors that either drive traction
cables or counterweight systems like a
hoist, or pump hydraulic fluid to raise a
cylindrical piston like a jack.

Name of the Project : Electric Power
generation from Steam DESCRIPTION: A steam-electric power
station is a power station in which the
electric generator is steam driven. Water is
heated, turns into steam and spins a steam
turbine which drives an electrical
generator. After it passes through the
turbine, the steam is condensed in a
condenser. The greatest variation in the
design of steam-electric power plants is
due to the different fuel sources.

especially one programmable by a
computer—capable of carrying out a
complex series of actions automatically.
Robots can be guided by an external
control device or the control may be
embedded within. Robots may be
constructed to take on human form but
most robots are machines designed to
perform a task with no regard to how they
look.

"weed eater", a "line trimmer" (in
Australia) or (in the UK and Ireland) a
"strimmer", is a tool which uses a flexible
mono filament line instead of a blade for
cutting grass and other plants near objects,

projects
(A) Infra-red sensor based remote
control appliances: This project use
TSOP1738 which works on 38 KHz
frequency and operate using
remote. We can control all the
appliances by using this circuit.
(B) Automatic switching of lights using
LDR: this concept use Light

DESCRIPTION: This project shows an
robot which follows a black line track only.
It consist of IR proximity sensors and
motor driver IC 293d. I It lays the
foundation for building your own behavior-
based (simulated) robot. The robot uses
interfaces for the sensors to make the
behavior of the robot as versatile as
possible. Two light detectors are mounted
at the front of the robot. Also, a path is
provided for the robot to follow—either a
black track (using black colour tape) on a

Name of the Project : Obstacle
Detector Robot Using Microcontroller
Description: The design and
implementation of obstacle avoider robot
using AVR Microcontroller is being done.
It is programmed to avoid running into
obstacles and detects the presence of
different objects around it and modifies the
motion of the motors appropriately. The
objects are sensed by the IR sensor. The
microcontroller controls two DC motors of
robot to navigate.
Basic Principle:
The basic principle involved in this is it
captures the obstacle presence with IR
sensors mounted at the three sides of the
robot. When the sensor senses an object,
analog signal is given to the op-amp to
produce 0s and1s which are then fed to the
microcontroller, then the microcontroller
decides the next move according to the
program. Microcontroller and driver circuit
are used for the control of motors

Name of the Project: Automatic Water
Tank Controller Using 8051
Description: The design and
implementation of this project is based on
the use of microcontroller for the purpose
of home automation. This automatically
cuts the power supply when the overhead
water tank is completely filled. This is very
useful project and it will save the wastage
of water and electricity.
Basic Principle:
The project uses LM324 IC which is
basically a quad-op amp. It detects the
signal and sends it to the microcontroller
8051 for further processing of the signal.
