ways. Diwali is synonymous with the celebrations of life and to make this festival special. In order to introduce
our young BLISSIANS . "Diya Decoration" as a Saturday Activity was conducted in Pre-Primary classes on 27th

BLISSIANS on Agro-educational Tour
16th September, 2019
Students of grade XII agriculture paid an educational tour on 16th Sunday, 2018 to Jaipur. In this tour they
visited wholesale flower market and cold storage.
Their main objective of this tour was to know about flower market activities and how fruits and vegetables
can be preserved under controlled conditions ( i.e. cold storage). The wholesale flower market was situated in
Near Chandi Ki Taksal, Badi Chaupad known as Janata Market. A team of 8 students reached in the morning
when market activities were going on. Everyone was busy in buying and selling .
In Jaipur, this is the market which is very big according to turn over and capacity of flower marketing. Various
types of flowers were arriving here for trading like marigold, rose, Ilium, Chrysanthemum etc. The whole
market scented with the smell of these flowers. The students meet the wholesaler and asked various types of
questions. We came to know that most of flowers are grown by local farmers residing nearby villages.
In the morning whole market area was overcrowded with people and flowers. According to wholesalers up to
12 noon market is closed and nothing remains left. By the 12 noon every single flower is sold out.
Then the group headed to see cold storage named Shri Balaji Cold Store located in Muhana mandi. This is one
of the biggest fruit and vegetable market in Jaipur. Students were allowed to go inside with the permission of
owner Mr. Pawan Kumar. This cold storage was built in 8 Crore rupees and state government gives 40 %
subsidy on the storage capacity of fruits and vegetables. Various types of fruits and vegetables were kept
there like apples, Malta, red capsicum, yellow capsicum, dry fruits, dates etc for long time storage. The agro
commodities were preserved under controlled cold temperatures to market them in offseason. The cold
storage comes under time-utility ie. fruits and vegetables are supplied In India anywhere throughout the year.
Apart from this, students visited some historical places to gain some knowledge about history like Nahargarh
Palace, Nahargarh Zoological park, Lake Palace etc.
This educational tour was very enriching in terms of understanding functioning of market. Children connected
the trip with their bookish knowledge. It gave them opportunity to connect the class room learning to real life
knowledge. The trip was organized under supervision and direction of Mr Harish Yadav.

Orientation Program on Career counseling
20/2/19 @ BLISS Todaraisingh
An orientation program was held at BLISS on 20TH Feb 2019. Class 9 to 12 students participated in this
orientation cum workshop program. At the fag end of the session, while class 12th will be leaving soon and
will try to find new paths in life. They will feel it very challenging to adjust in new environment. At the same
time class 10 will be moving in class 11 where they have to select new subjects as per their choice or interest.
At this juncture most of students are confused and they may take a wrong decision under parental or peer
pressure. So, to address all these issues a session on Career counseling was planned.
Two personnel Mr Lokman Singh and Ajai Sharma from Vinora Educational consultancy services Delhi were there to help out children. The relationship between a Counsellor and a Counselee is based on a good rapport and trust. This is important while counselling, as it helps to achieve the end goal, i.e., helping the counselee reach the solutions to his problems. This rapport was established in first 20 minutes and then it was a smooth sailing.
An engaging session of two hours was taken. Children were oriented for their goals and at the end of the
session they all were a different personality. They all were filled with positive energy and attitude. This
attitude was the biggest take away of the session.
Children’s Day Celebration @ BLISS

While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about... We BLISSIANS definitely agree with this and we believe in learning through different kinds of activities other than academics. Children's day started with all happiness and joy in air. The school was decorated by staff members to give all children a gift of surprise. A special assembly was conducted by teachers for the students to make them feel special. Through dance and other activities teachers showed everyone that the inner child in them still inspires them and keep the fun going. Some teachers presented their own composed poetries which inspired children to be creative in their expressions. Some other activities like poster making, slogan writing, card making, essay writing were organised for all classes and students enjoyed these and loved to show their creative skills.

mind we at BLISS organised a Diya making competition for grades 1 to 5. Students were given Diyas, decorative material,

their imagination wild. Looking forward to the joyous festival of lights, we wish you all a very happy, healthy and BLISS-
ful Diwali.
A talk on Health and Hygiene @ BLISS Bliss – Todaraisingh 27/9/2018
A talk by Dr Sudha Mangal was organized on 27th of September, 2018 in BLISS-Todaraisingh. Dr Sudha is
presently serving at Govt hospital Deoli. The aim of talk was to spread awareness among students about their
health and hygiene in different seasons and at different age. She addressed both the physical and mental
health related issues, awareness and preventive measures.
Doctor had a heartfelt and candid conversation with children of all ages and addressed their queries and
curiosity. Dr Sudha accentuated on various aspects of seasonal disease, daily hygiene and adolescent
problems.
She advised to take care of personal hygiene. Personal hygiene is the act of taking care of our health and well-
being by keeping ourselves clean. Children get in touch with a lot of dirt, dust, and bacteria when they go out.
Whether they go to the school, park or any other place, they touch things that have bacteria, which get
transferred to their hands. When the bacteria find their way into a child’s body, he is prone to diseases and
illnesses.
Doctor discussed the preventive measures. She said that not maintaining personal hygiene has its implications.
Children who live in unhygienic conditions and have poor personal hygiene are prone to illnesses as their
immune system is not as strong as that of the adults.
Good personal hygiene habits enable children to stay healthy, free from illnesses and diseases caused due to
bacteria. They feel good about themselves. They maintain and enjoy a healthy body image . People with poor
personal hygiene have a negative body image, which can disrupt their social life. They Should develop a
healthy personality . Being clean, well-dressed and well-represented boosts one’s self-image, which in turn
increases their confidence and their chances of success in professional as well as social lives.
Doctor conveyed that adolescence is considered to be a very crucial transitional stage of girl's life, with acute
crisis in which her future is at stake. The girl child until the attainment of womanhood undergoes through
different stages of life cycle. The adolescent girls experience emotional challenges and issues of sexuality soon
after onset of puberty. Puberty is a unique and distinctive period and is characterized by certain
developmental changes that occur in no other time in life span. During adolescence, puberty can occur at
anytime between ages thirteen to nineteen year. This rapid growth and body changes are likely to be
accompanied by fatigues, restlessness isolation, lack of interest feeling of to take part in activities in school
and family. During this period many health hazards can affect them due to lack of knowledge, superstitious
family system, fear to clarify their doubts with elders, neglecting of boys, lack of confidence etc. Healthy
hygienic practices of adolescent girls are primary concern for overall development of women. Different studies
reveals that the first menstrual of young girls is often traumatic in most part of the country although almost all
communities.
School Nurse Ms Rampati and Ms Suchita Rathore conducted and facilitated the whole event.

Valedictory Function
@ BLISS Todaraisingh 24/1/2019
What lies behind us and what lies before us are very small matters as compared to what lies within us. And what lies
within us will stay with us for lifetime no matter what the circumstances are.
Our first batch of class 12th was all set to kick start their new journey with all the beautiful memories and experiences
of their life at BLISS. The valedictory function was organised by their juniors, class 11th and the whole event turned out
to be another memorable day in the lives of class 12 students. The program started with felicitation, introductory speech
and blessings by director ma'am and principal sir followed by songs and dance performances. Then came the most
memorable part of the whole event and that was the experience sharing part by the seniors. They were hesitant initially
but once they opened up, the bottled up feelings came out like the fizz from the soda bottle.
Students shared the funny incidences of their hostel life, their memorable moments with their roommates and their
feelings for their teachers and classmates. They apologized for their mistakes and felt gratitude for everyone and
everything they have been blessed for. Teachers also shared their thoughts with their beloved children. Life may not be
the party we hoped for but while we are here we should dance. Everyone enjoyed music and dance followed by a
scrumptious dinner. Overall it was a grand farewell party for our beloved children. Wherever they will go in life they will
always carry all the beautiful memories of BLISS and we wish them a very BLISSFUL future ahead.
A cleanliness drive @BLISS
2nd October 2018
To promote the values of cleanliness, discipline and respect for environment, BLISS hold a
cleanliness drive on the occasion of Gandhi jayanti ,2nd October. The drive echoed with the
PM’s Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’ .
It was an effort to educate and sensitize students about the importance of cleanliness for a
healthy, socially responsible, economically dynamic and progressive nation.
The drive began with an informative speech by Principal. After general instruction of
cleanliness children and teachers took their teams for task. All the students were divided into
different groups and they were allotted specific areas to clean. Students took the task on
hand and within twenty minutes the whole campus was in a different look.
Cleanliness plays a vital role in maintaining the personal hygiene and health of society.
Children of preprimary and primary classes were so excited and they did it so enthusiastically
as if it were a fun activity.
The whole drive was quite inspiring and motivating for the staff and students. The students
realized that any work is best done when it is carried out by a person himself. It also made the
students aware of the dignity of labour.
Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bhadur Jayanti Celebrated @BLISS
2nd October, 2018
Gandhi jayanti is one of the important national events of India celebrated every year on 2nd of October, a birth
anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. 2nd of October in 1869 was the day when this legendary leader took birth. It is
celebrated all over the India in each state and Union Territory.
At BLISS the day was celebrated with a cause, with great gusto and zeal. A dance-drama-songs packed
program was put up by children. A quiz based on Mahatma Gandhi’s life was conducted in amphethetre.
Students celebrated this occasion by playing drama, reciting poem, song, speech, essay writing, quiz competition,
painting competition, etc based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi and his works. Gandhi’s songs, thoughts and his
favourite bhajans were played and sung to celebrate his legacy. His most favorite devotional song ”Raghupati
Raghav Raja Ram” was also sung by the students in his memory .
Gandhi has been the role model and inspirational leader for many political leaders and especially the youths of the
country. Other great leaders such as Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, James Lawson, etc got inspiration from
Mahatma Gandhi’s theory of non-violence and peaceful way to fight for freedom and liberty.
Principal Mr S.S.Rathore emphasised upon to carry forward the Gandhian’s legacy. It is not enough just to
remember him by speeches, songs and quizes. Father of nation has great significance, and we need to
inculcate and build up a great character among students to build up a great nation.
A dance drama was put up by little children to enact the incident of Pakistan where militants attacked a school
and brutally killed the humanity. The song Mujhe dushman ke bachchon ko padfhan hai…..was thrilling.
Lal bahadur shashtri shares this day with M Gandhi as birth anniversary. Students made speeches to
accentuate his life history and related many anecdotes. He was 2nd Prime minister of India. He hailed from a
very humble family. In his youth he got inspired by Gandhiji and started participating in freedom movement.
The program was followed by a cleanliness drive. Principal and all the teachers led this drive to send a clear
message that clealiness is next to godliness.
Thump of Dancers Feet on Garba-Night @ BLISS
18, 19 ,October 2018 at BLISS Todaraisingh
Bright colours, lively folk music, show lights, clinking metallic jewellery, graceful dancers, laughing faces, flowing traditional chaniya-cholis (skirts-blouses), bangles, anklets, swaying movements of the hands, dancers gliding in sync with the rhythm, with the large number of teenage girls and boys together and mingled .This account indicates none other than ‘’Garba Night’’ and Dandia-Rass.
On 17 and 18th of October 2018 was celebrated as Dandiya Raas and garba at BLISS. Whole school was overwhelming. Where in Gujarat the garba is a big deal at the same time this tradition is spreading in other states as well with the same feel and touch. Raas or Dandiya Raas is the traditional folk dance form of Gujarat & Rajasthan, and is associated with scenes of Holi, and Lila of Krishna and Radha at Vrindavan.
There are several forms of Raas, but "Dandiya Raas", performed during Navaratri in Gujarat is the most popular form.
That’s how BLISS is inculcating traditional values among children. The dance moves of Garba typically involve
people standing in a circle and dancing together as the circle moves in cyclical motions. This is the
representation of time and cycle of birth-life-rebirth in Hinduism. Many staff ladies also participated in dance
and got mingled with children. Many hands tried dandia first time and seemed to be good in a very short

Lohri and Makar Sankranti Celebration
13, 14 January of 2019 @ BLISS Toda
The shift of Sun in the sky marks the beginning of the end of winters and longer, brighter and shinier days are here to
inspire us and fill us with energy.
This time of the year is celebrated thorough out the country by different names but the same zeal. The celebration at
BLISS started on the evening of 13th January with the Lohri bonfire. Everyone gathered around bonfire and offered
prayers with till-gud revris and peanuts to burn the worries and negativities and lit our life with brightness and warmth.
Everyone enjoyed the warmth of bonfire with songs and dances.
The morning Sun of Makar Sankranti was heartily welcomed by our children on 14th of January as they excitedly waited
to show their kite flying skills. With music on the full blast all children were so full of energy and enthusiasm and it
showed as the grey of the sky was soon filled with bright and colourful kites. Children enjoyed every bit of Sun on the
cold chilly winter day and learnt the important life lesson that No matter how much adverse the situations are in life,
never give up as the Kites fly higher against the winds, and not with it.
National Education Day at BLISS
11.11.2018
November 11th, declared as National education day by central government to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana abul kalam azad, a great educationalist, freedom fighter and first union minister of education. At B L International Smart School, we organised various activities to make students understand the importance of education. We firmly believe in modern day education which emphasize more on activities and practical learning with the regular curriculum. Various activities were organised according to different age groups and students expressed themselves through their creativity. For senior classes essay writing competition was held. The topics given to them were 'Technology in education' and 'Traditional education vs Modern education'. As these topics are serious issues of debates in today's generation, students loved to express themselves and many were in favor of use of technology more and more. Some even felt that in this era of globalization, education cannot survive without technology and
so it's really important for us to remain connected with the world. Traditional education too have many qualities especially the morals and values which needs a little restrictions and control to make them better citizens. For middle classes we conducted poster making, chart making and slogan writing competition. It's said that creativity is at peak in teenage and our students proved it best with all their zest and zeal. For smaller children, card making was organised and they participated very enthusiastically in the activity. Students were told about the importance of education and especially to create more awareness about girl child education. We at BLISS believe that children have immense energy and it's our responsibility to channelise in right direction, this can be achieved only through right education.

B L International Smart School Students on City survey for Road Safety
Date: 8/2/2019 Todaraisingh
During *Road Safety Week*, thousands of organizations, schools and communities take part, with road safety
demonstrations, events, and awareness Video screenings, talks and more. Each year the event has a theme. Theme for
this year 2019 is ‘Road Safety, Life Safety’ (“Sadak Suraksha-Jeevan Raksha”). During *Road Safety Week*, the police
often do roadside checks of vehicles for safety, highlighting the dangers of poorly maintained vehicles and offering
advice to drivers, or running speed checks and reminding the general public of how speeding is a major cause of
accidents and contributor to deaths through road accidents.
In order to make our students aware of road safety B. L. International Smart School joined hand in hand with traffic
police. Some of the volunteer students (Deshraj Dhakar, Kuldeep, Rahul Choudhary, Rohit Choudhary, Jai Prakash,
Shakti Pratap Singh and Sukhdev) from class VIII explored safety rules. Mr. Ashok Thakur and Mr. Dilip Kumar Lakhera
joined them. For better experience, they stepped out in Todaraisingh’s busy road to make people aware. During the
campaigning students observed the following safety requirements in Todaraisingh, Tonk District.
- Speed-breaker in front of school makes the riders and drivers slow down their vehicles. Slow driving makes less
chances of accident. There is no speed breaker in front of B. L. International Smart School. Also, an alert
signboard must be placed in both the sides of the road with alert message ‘Go Slow, School Ahead’.
- An open sewage was found nearby Kekdi-Bisalpur Crossing, which is dangerous especially at night for bike riders.
- Despite ‘No Parking’ board in front of SBI Bank people parked their vehicles over there. Such vehicles should be
towed away by traffic police.
- Divider on the road makes road safer. However, there is no divider in Kekdi road just after ‘Shahid Udhyan’.

Educational Tour to Haldighati, Eklingaji & Udaipur
28,29,30th of October 2018
Travelling is the best education. You get to see the world through different lens. And you realise that your homeland is not the only place you can enjoy, but there are many other places too. And that's what we BLISSIANS did in the educational tour to Haldighati and Udaipur on 28th and 29th of October. Right from boarding the bus to sight seeing of beautiful hills of Haldighati and picturesque beauty of city of lakes Udaipur, it was all 'fun and learn' for all the students. The day one was spent mostly in travelling and the main attraction of the day was the picturesque hills of Haldighati. Students were amazed to learn details of life of Maharana Pratap in Haldighati museum. The museum depicts every detail of Rana Pratap's life with life sized figurines in breath taking views which makes you feel that you are watching the real life of Rana Pratap. From Haldighati all went to Udaipur where we stayed in holiday homes. There Students enjoyed a scrumptious dinner followed by a dance party. Day two began with all smiles and joy of BLISSIANS with palatable and refreshing breakfast to kick start the day. Students enjoyed learning about folk art through beautiful art pieces at Bhartiya lok kala mandal museum. They saw various traditional art forms by tribal people and also enjoyed a great puppet show. Boating at the biggest lake of Udaipur, the Fateh Sagar Lake was a real fun for students and from there we all went to Saheliyon ki badi and learnt that it was made in 24 years for the queen and her friend's enjoyment. The beautiful architecture of the magnificent City Palace museum was a treat to our eyes and it took us long time to explore it. It showed the lifestyle of the royal family. The facade as well as the interiors, everything was a beautiful piece of art in itself. Celebration mall was the last destination for the day and students were given freedom to satisfy the shopping urge and collect beautiful memories of Udaipur with them. Overall the trip was memorable and an unforgettable experience for students

Saturday Activity: Clay modeling
October 6, 2018
There is something very therapeutic about playing with clay even as an adult. The tactile nature of clay lets young children develop their imaginations and their moter skills while having fun. Therefore, we chose ‘Clay Modeling’ as a Saturday activity which was conducted on October 6, 2018.
Kids could make some really beautiful clay birds like duck and other animals too. Children enjoyed the soft touch of clay. It helped them to use their imagination while having fun with clay modeling activity.
Fruit Day celebration at BLISS
As Saturday activity on September 22nd , 2018
It was a day with a difference for these little ones of the BLISS here, when they
celebrated ‘Fruit Day’. Fruits Day was celebrated in Pre-Primary section on 22nd of
September2018. The programme was part of a novel method of familiarizing children with
fruits and more importantly, making them understand that fruits are essential part of daily
meal. Teachers taught the toddlers the fun behind sharing foods with friends.
Preprimary students were part of the celebrations. Each student brought one variety of
fruit that was first displayed and then cut to make a fruit salad that was offered to the
children. With the slogan ‘Sunday ho ya Monday, Roz Manao Fruit Day’ (Whether it is Sunday
or Monday, lets celebrate Fruit Day), teachers urged children to eat more fruits with every
meal. To explain to the children uses of various fruits, they were made to dress and enact the
role of a fruit. TeachersAND children made Mango shapes out of Wheat flour, Semolina and
Turmeric. At the time of dispersal, the modeled fruit shapes were handed over to the students
to show and gift them to their parents.
Teachers explained the benefits of eating fruits so that students should cultivate the
habit of eating fruits and avoiding junk fruits.
Ganesha Visarjan at BLISS : The immersion ceremony
17 September 2018 — BLISS, Todaraisingh
Amidst the rousing melodies, the Sri Ganesha Murthi which has received daily worship in the BLISS for last five days was brought to the base steps of the boys hostel this evening. All the BLISSIANS throng for this final ceremony of the Ganesha Chaturthi festival to join in honor of the beloved Remover of Obstacles. As the fruits and flowers, incense were offered and the arati flame was lit everybody was overwhelmed.
Principal SS Rathore made coin offerings to Ganesha before waving a coconut around their head three times and offering it at His feet, seeking His blessings.School manager Hemant Verma also received blessings og ganesha on the occasion. After bhajans and arati were performed, Sri Ganesha was carefully lifted to lap with the musicians leading the way.
Ganesha was then led in a procession across the BLISS campus, and out through the front gate toward the Bisalpur dam. There were all the schoolchildren filled with energy, and the innocence and enthusiasm of the bhajans and jaikara they made for Ganesha entire way added greatly to the celebratory spirit. During the procession all the staff members and their family members accompanied Ganesha,
Finally, the procession arrived at the chosen spot on the Bisalpur dam, and Ganesha was brought to the tide’s edge. Staff members and students joined in and braved the waves, carrying Ganesha into the dam, where He was to become one with earth and water.
This immersion ceremony symbolizes the form (physical existence) returning to the formless (spiritual existence). Its purpose is to teach that all forms of God, including human beings, have both their beginning and end in the one Formless Absolute. In this light, the worship of God’s form actually serves as a bridge, helping us to reach that state of Infinite Awareness. Just as Ganesha today merged with Mother earth, so too is our consciousness destined to merge into the supreme Consciousness.
