How and when did you come up with an idea of forming WBC?

Women Business Cult is not just an idea but a feeling of empowerment. As an women entrepreneur since more than 10 years personally I went through many phases where it was very difficult to find a tribe of like minded women Business Entrepreneurs. Thus having this thought and wish of having a platform where I could find like minded, goal oriented and at the same time helpful women was always on my mind.So When I found my Co-Founder Deepika Maheshwari have the same mindset and the urge to do something for the women Business Entrepreneurs, instantly we both started working on it and here we are with a team of UNSTOPPABLE WOMEN who are goal oriented, hard working and impeccable in their business..

What is the main objective of WBC?

"Empowered Women Empower Women"There is nothing more motivating or powerful than seeing how women are launching and growing their Companies and Businesses. How many women entrepreneurs are a part of WBC?

Women Business Cult has many women entrepreneurs in Hyderabad and even globally. We have 2 ways by which we operate. ONLINE AND OFFLINE MEETINGS..

We have Offline group of ladies who are from hyder-abad and meet every month at our Formal Meets, Infor-mal Meets and On The Various Events we plan to give them more visibility and networking opportunities. And the other is ONLINE MEETS which connects Women entrepreneurs from Pan- India and even Globally.

Each member of women Business Cult is a contact which can generate hundreds of further contacts, thus giving a number is never possible coz each member acts as a brand ambassador for all the other members.

How is WBC helping women entrepreneurs?

For any business, it is important to get your name out there both in person and online. Joining women Busi-ness Cult will help people find you, get to know you, and build a credible relationship with you that can boost your business.

Here are 5 benefits of business networking by Women Business Cult :

Ultimately, when it comes to promoting you or your business, networking and social media are powerful tools for word-of-mouth marketing. Whether online, in networking groups or at a networking event, you can build sustainable relationships with other individuals, and establish your business as a focal point of the community. Nikita AgarwalOwner of cloud kitchen - MASALA HUB

1. Tell us something about yourself and what inspired you to start your own business?

Well, I have been a food enthusiastic all my life. Cook-ing became a passion as my two little daughters were growing up and the idea to make everyone fall in love with my specially curated dishes, which my family has loved over the years, paved the way to start MASALA HUB, and its been a great journey so far.

2. What is your business USP?

Any food business's USP should be the taste, and so is ours. Apart from being totally safe, fresh and hygienic, our offerings are also made using mostly organic and healthy ingredients.

3. What challenges did you come across when you first started your business?

The biggest challenge was to cater to different cus-tomers with individual menus and different tastes. Food is a very vast and wide column. To customise multiple orders according to the customer's taste on the same day is a task. Retaining the crispyness after packaging is a tough job. We are learning till date. It only means we are ready for and in process of improvement everyday.

4. According to you what are the qualities of a good entrepreneur?

Being true to the customers. Putting their heart in understanding what the consumer needs. Trying to innovate and bringing out something new without compromising on the 'quality' are the qualities required in any food entrepreneur. Pun intended, Haha.

5. What is your company’s goal?

MASALA HUB's primary goal is to reach out to food lovers who look for authentic dishes which are home-made and want their guests to relish new tastes and flavours when they have any occasions/get togethers at home.

Nikita AgarwalOwner of cloud kitchen - MASALA HUB

6. How has pandemic impacted your business and what are the smartest moves taken to overcome it?

The fact is that MASALA HUB was started because of the pandemic. It's a lockdown baby. A lot of people missed going out, eating out, and that's where we came in and instantly became a crowd favorite among the circles.

7. What is your most memorable experience as an entrepreneur?

A memorable experience I would say was when we received orders from Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Gujarat to send it to their guests in Hyderabad. It felt really surreal that the word has travelled far. A few months back I had a famous local celebrity who ordered from us,that was again an excitement for me.

8. Does being an entrepreneur affect your personal life? If yes, What do you do to balance yourself?

There is this constant fear of putting on weight cos I keep tasting and eating all what's being made, so I need to seriously balance... Jokes apart, it is an import-ant part. Working for yourself and having something of this kind, your children see you at work, involve and engage along and learn new aspects. It has positive affects only, if any!

9. What is your source of motivation in life and what have you learned from your failures?

My family, especially my parents are my biggest source of light and strength. Somedays I just feel down and my husband is there to push me up again. Failures have taught me to get up more effortlessly every time.

10. What advice would you give to a fellow female who is trying to become an entrepreneur?

Just go for it girl. May be you won't fit in at once. Try your hands. Give your full effort. Love your work and most importantly, respect your work. Just cos you are a working female, doesn't mean that your work is a backseat performer in the family. Small or big doesn't matter.

Since childhood, I’ve been very keen about business. It got a push when I was in my second semester of degree. I started my first business. Training’s, workshops and consultations were always fun. It was a wonderful experience but a bad partnership can really make work difficult. I tried more options, more businesses and more partners. None worked out for me. Left me devastated with minimal hopes and clarity on future opportunities.

I started working on my hobbies. Candle making and soap making were my most favourite. Ive always loved to create experiences. Lock down gave me enough time to explore, learn and practice more. And that’s how “Tropi-ganics” began. To a surprise, my skin are needs turned out to be trending. Most of the audience, was looking for organic and natural skin care solutions.

While I was researching, I found out more about the scary impact of chemicals on skin. And these are easily available in most drugstore products that we use in our daily life. I decided to come up with a range of products that would help in detoxification of skin.

My products also help with issues like stress, anxiety, insomnia, dead skin, blackheads, white heads, acne, pimples, chapped lips, pigmentation, tan, cracked and dry feet. They work magic for aromathera-py too which provides a natural, organic and luxury bath experience.

I am grateful to my family, friends, customers, God, well wishes, and universe for all the support. It has been a great journey.

1. Tell us something about yourself and what inspired you to start your own business?I was really inspired to create a style of jewellery that is gorgeous and at the same time, well priced. From my years of experience in the industry I felt a need of a brand that can fill up this gap and is able to make luxury affordable to all. Also Being a business woman, it actually made it easier for me to create a life I always wanted for myself. Now I run the show to create the ideal blend of work/life balance.

2. What is your business USP?We draw from years of manufacturing experience to offer our clients fine jewellery at an exceptional value. In just over a decade, Ornate has carved a unique niche for itself in the Indian jewellery market. At Ornate, we have the advantage of drawing on a rich base of manufacturing experience. And we have excelled in below mentioned verticals:We create absolutely high-end diamond jewellery for Retailers across India. We have carved a niche as a “Wedding Jewellery planner”, where in addition to innovative and timeless design concepts, we address the consumer need to budget expenses on jewellery.

3. What challenges did you come across when you first started your business? There were two biggest challenges that I faced initially. Being in a business that involves high value transactions and is majorly based on trust, Picking the right combination team was stressful. Business Time Management was the other challenge for me. As a new establishment , I had to take up many roles and donned as many hats as I could. I wished to accom-plish a lot in a limited amount of time and thus was always running from pillar to post to take care of things.

4. According to you what are the qualities of a good entrepreneur?Confidence. Hands down. You need to be confident in yourself, confident in your mission, and confident in your worth. As a leader, I don’t focus on my gender or if I am a female. To me, my role is to ensure that I do my job well and to produce consistent and quality work, each and every time

I always believe that we should let our work speak for itself and let its quality demand respect.

Shruti Kapadiaentrepreneur at ORNATE

5. What is your company’s goal?In next 5 years, Ornate will create its niche as a known boutique for affordable luxury jewels still staying true to the nature and origin of the brand.

6. How has pandemic impacted your business and what are the smartest moves taken to overcome it?The pandemic created a lot of havoc with the number of Covid-19 cases and the number of people succumbing to it is growing. This led to an overall negative consumer sentiment as people are dealing with the loss of near and dear ones. But as it started to settle a bit , we saw a drastic change in the buying pattern. Families started to prefer investing more in jewellery than in a big fat wedding affair as jewellery is always considered as a long term invest-ment. Because of our name as a “Wedding Jewellery Planner” and manufacturing strength we could cater to our existing clients as well as many new clients during this time and made their events more memorable.

7. What is your most memorable experience as an entrepre-neur?There have been many moments that continuously kept on inspiring us. However, I would like to share this most recent one that happened in July 2020, post lockdown. Everyone believed that luxury sector would be the last to revive, however because of our name and stand in the market, we were able to bag a good order from a single client who dealt with us for the first time. The order started with couple of lakhs and we ended up doing a business worth 3.5 crores. This clearly explains the trust that we always build up over our clients even in a short span of time.

8. Does being an entrepreneur affect your personal life? If yes, What do you do to balance yourself?Work-life balance is incredibly important to female entre-preneurs. Being a business woman, it actually made it easier for me to create a life I always wanted for myself. As an entrepreneur, even if I’m working longer hours, I get to spend those hours with freedom and flexibility. As a business owner, I run the show to create the ideal blend of work/life balance.

9. What is your source of motivation in life and what have you learned from your failures? My Mother-in-Law, Mrs. Geeta Kapadia is my biggest role model. From her I have learned that “planning is every-thing” and my 9 years old, daughter is my biggest inspira-tion. She gives wings to my imagination and sparks my creativity. Professionally Priyanka Chopra always have inspired me. As she very well said “The only thing you need to wear well is your confidence”.

10. What advice would you give to a fellow female who is trying to become an entrepreneur? There are moments in life where it gets so hectic that time becomes a blur. Keep Calm & NEVER GIVE UP!
