INTRODUCTION
Visual identity lies at the heart of communications strategies and informs the communications axis by which Ivanhoé Cambridge addresses its clients, partners and employees.
Protecting Ivanhoé Cambridge’s brand identity and that of its properties is very important because it helps establish their reputation and credibility. Anyone called upon to disseminate a message on the Company’s behalf will be contributing actively on each occasion to applying the unity and cohesion of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s dynamic, contemporary brand image.
This guide presents the main guidelines to be followed and provides instructions on the use of the new communications tools in connection with the launch of the pilot project for endorsement of properties by Ivanhoé Cambridge.

Construction and clear space
The dotted line denotes the required clear
space around the logotype. No other
visual or typographical element may
encroach on this space. The logotype
must always be right-justified.
In addition, the badge in the Company
logo serves as a gauge for measuring the
minimum distance at which other visual or
typographic elements may be positioned
around the logotype.
LOGOTYPE
Minimum size
To maintain the legibility of the
logotype in all circumstances, a
minimum size has been set for
purposes of printing, for example
when it is used on gift cards.
The logotype is the foundation of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s brand personality and visual platform. A few simple instructions have therefore been developed to ensure its consistent use across all applications endorsing the brand at the Company’s properties.

COLOURS(4 VERSIONS)
Versions in black
A version in basic black,
ideal on a pale background.
All versions of the logos will be downloadable
from the Ivanhoé Cambridge graphics
standards website.
They will be available in four formats:
JPEG, PNG, EMF and EPS.
For the EPS version, used for printed
documents, we have added bleed space
for perfect reproduction.
Be very careful in this instance to position
the endorsement logo on the bleed
guide lines (see example).Inverted versions
A basic inverted version suited to any
background with colours strong enough
for the white type to be legible.
A inverted version on a black background
that will fit easily in an information-rich
environment. May also be used on a
plain background.
A black & white version on a
50% transparent background that will
blend well with the background colour.
To facilitate harmonious matching of the endorsement logotype to the properties’ graphic environments, we have developed four different versions, two monochrome (black) and two in inverted.

GIFT CARDS
APPLICATIONS
Recommended option
Due to limited space, application
on gift cards may be built with the
minimum-sized logo, suggested in this
specific case.
The signature must always be positioned
in the lower right of the card. Use
whichever of the four versions blends
best with your design.
The Public Affairs and Communications
team remains available for any
questions and to discuss the location
and colour of an endorsement.
Gift cards are a marketing item that
should convey the linkage between
the Company and the property. They
are an application that easily links the
two entities by always emphasizing a
property’s logo.

SIGNAGE
Spatial organization for signage on your

combination with the endorsement logo.
Representative examples
As the examples show clearly, each layout
requires careful selection of the appropriate
version of the logotype. It is always
positioned in the lower right.
VERTICAL DISPLAY:
The logo should occupy half the width
of the sign.
HORIZONTAL DISPLAY:
The logo should occupy one-third
of the width of the sign.

WALLS
For walls and fences, it can be difficult
to determine clearly the size of the
logo, depending on what kind of
information is contained in the visual.
It remains indispensable, however,
to position the logo in the lower right,
at a suitable height from the ground.
The illustration here is intended
only as an example.
The Public Affairs and
Communications team remains
available for any questions and
to discuss the positioning and colour
of the endorsement.

KIOSKS
Information kiosks are architectural
elements often integrated into a
property’s layout.
For consumers, these spaces are
among the first touchpoints enabling
a link to Ivanhoé Cambridge.
Since kiosk designs vary from one
property to another, it is hard to
determine specific standards to be
met. You must therefore have your
design approved by the Public Affairs
and Communications team.
The illustration here is intended only
as an example.

INTERACTIVE OR STATIC TERMINALS(DIRECTORY, PROMOTIONS, ETC.)
Here are two suggested options for
integrating the endorsement logo,
depending whether the terminal is
horizontal or vertical.
OPTION A
Printing or self-adhesive label directly on the
structure, in black or inverted.
OPTION B
Integrated into the design of your content
(directory, promotions, etc.)

WEBSITES
Each property already uses the
Ivanhoé Cambridge logo on its
website. This will be replaced by the
endorsement logotype.
It will be positioned with the general
information on the homepage, always
at the lower right and with the Ivanhoé
Cambridge logo and signature at
a minimum width of 80 pixels for
(see example).
