Manal’s story

• Deaf since birth, Manal spent 4 years searching for an organisation

that would accommodate her disability

•After an introduction to YBI Saudi Arabia member, The Centennial Fund,

Manal was inspired to establish a business offering beauty & boutique

tailoring

•The Centennial Fund provided a dedicated business mentor, a start-up

loan and further training to support Manal’s new business

• Manal’s business is now thriving, making $24,000 profit last year and

employing 5 people including some colleagues from the Institute of

Deaf and Mute
