March 24-End of the 3 rd nine weeks March 26-27-Art Beat in Action Academics Math Topic 1 1- Mulitplying and Dividing Fractions Reading Review Writing -Persuasive Writing Spelling -Spelling Test Friday Make sure you have turned in the permission slip form and ALL payments (cash or check made out to Concord Elementary School) by MARCH Exhibition Fifth Grade students have begun the Exhibition Process. They have developed a central idea to go along with our theme of Who We Are. The students chose “Humans have rights and responsibilities to help one another” as their Central Idea. They will be investigating ways people help the elderly and who provides ACT ASPIRE and PASS TESTING! ACT ASPIRE and PASS TESTING are quickly approaching!! Students will be taking these tests starting April 28 th –May 4 th and May 7 th and 8 th . Please make sure you talk with your child about the importance of paying attention, following directions, and their effort in work. ACT ASPIRE and PASS TESTING are quickly approaching!! Students will be taking these tests starting April 28th–May 4th and May 7th and 8th. Please make sure you talk with your child about the importance of paying attention, following directions, and their effort in work. We have noticed a lot of decrease in these three things and really need for the kids to be focused and ready to work daily. We have been working hard all year learning this material to help get them prepared for these tests and want to see all of them shine!
