And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and b o u g h t i n t h e t e m p l e , a n d overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. (Matthew 21:12-13) The Spirit of God dealt with us in our recent meeting about this verse. See also, Mark 11:15-17 and Luke 19:45-46. Three different times in scripture this is spoken of, so you would agree this is important. I had never thought on it very much until the Spirit of God dealt with me about it.
Missing Link Prayer is the missing link between Him, His Glory and the church. The Spirit of God said to me, “The first thing that should be taught to new Christians is how to pray. Without prayer, Christians will not know Me or have the ability to live according to My Word.” There is a spiritual assault on prayer, right now, from the kingdom of darkness. Christians desire to pray but don’t because the oppression of satan is on them.
The missing link of prayer has caused the
church, as a whole, to be revelation deficient. I admire ministers who are
able to put together talks, speeches and
videos that mesh together, at just the right time, to amaze and emotionally move the audience. In fact, that has been trending in the church for many years now. It takes a lot of effort to pull it off successfully. Many times, those things replace praying and seeking God until He gives the message for the minister to preach. Then those things are simply book reports on the Bible, which anyone with a little knowledge can do. I am not against illustrations, but if the illustration/message doesn’t come f rom revelation, by the Spirit of God, it is a waste of time.
Jesus Jesus said, “My house shall be called the house of prayer.” He got angry and turned over tables and chairs because the House of God was being used for other purposes than prayer and worship of The Lord. What would He do in the progressive church today? His original intent for the church has been mostly forgotten today.
Why Pray Dad Hagin made us aware that years ago Rev. John Wesley said, "It seems God is limited by our prayer life—that He can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him.” In the book of Genesis, we find that God gave dominion over the earth to Adam. Adam, through his disobedience, gave his authority to the devil. God cannot legally and justly move in and take away that dominion from the devil. The devil has dominion here. He has a right. He has Adam's lease. This means God cannot do anything unless somebody on earth asks Him. If this is true, and it is because it agrees with the Bible, Christians are responsible for praying and asking God to move in the earth. The Spirit of God will alert us, at times, what to pray about. If you are not sensitive to Him, you will not hear it in your spirit. There are many good things that don’t happen because we do not pray. There are many bad things that happen because we fail to pray. It is simply that simple. It is up to us according to the Bible.
Prophetic Insight On Prayer Dad Hagin stood at the forefront of the prophet’s ministry to the church. He was raised up by the Lord to bring revelation to the church for the end time move of God in the earth.
He moved to heaven in 2003, but the revelation that came through him has been mostly unheeded by the present day church. I have stood for that Heavenly Vision that came to us from Jesus Christ through him. I have faced intense opposition for doing so because it is not popular. I knew Dad Hagin by the Spirit, not just in the natural. I know that is why I am so given to this, because it is my calling. I have tried to get the Lord to let someone else pick it up but in times of prayer He would say, “I am waiting on you. Will you obey Me?” I can testify that His mercy endures forever. I believe many others have the calling, but have simply suppressed it because it is not popular today. There were times that I almost gave up and quit because most of the modern day church has no concept of it or refuses it. The devil also tried to stop me with various attacks in my personal life, finances and ministry. It seemed it would be easier on the flesh to just go along with the crowd. There is a move of God that belongs to this generation, but it will not come unless it is birthed in prayer. This move will usher in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In prayer, I have dedicated myself to seeing that heavenly vision fulfilled today more than ever before. It must come to pass.
The Holy Ghost Said The Holy Ghost said the following words though Dad Hagin to the church world. Whosoever will let him hear what the Spirit of God is saying. “Don’t draw back. The time is near, the time is at hand. No longer can you wait; no longer can you procrastinate. No longer can you say, “Yeah, in another day I’ll consecrate. In a later day, I’ll wait on the Lord more. In another day, I will spend more time with Him. In another day, I’ll put my flesh under. No longer. Don’t draw back and don’t pull back. The Spirit of the Lord pleads with you. Come forward, more forward. Answer the call you hear in your heart. Respond unto the Spirit of God. It is not bad. It is good. The price that would be paid in the flesh is nothing compared to the glory which shall be revealed. It is not bad. Do not dread it. Do not draw back from it. It is a lie. It’s a deception that has held you back. It’s a lie. It’s a deception that has caused you to draw back. Go on in. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh the treasures of the things He has laid up for you. The things that your heart is hungry for. Nothing else will satisfy your soul. Nothing else will give you the answer in your heart. Nothing else will satisfy what you seek. Nothing.
Oh, push in. respond unto the Spirit of God. Just lay those other things aside. Humble the pride and fall before Him and wait upon Him. And as you do, your soul will blossom. Your spirit will spring forth. Yea, you will be a greater blessing unto your spouse. You’ll be a greater blessing unto your family because you will bloom forth. And you won’t be restricted like before. And you won’t be vexed like before. And you won’t be hindered like before. Yea, you’ve done some things for them. You’ve drawn back and you said it was for them. But you have not been a blessing to them in that the full blessing of the Lord was not upon thee. But if you shall press in though, it might seem to cost that price in the beginning, it might seem like it costs you. It might seem like it costs them. Yea, but that’s the only way to get to the things that they desire and the things that you desire and the things that are needed. Yea, the things that must be in this hour, it cannot be delayed. It cannot be delayed. It must be now. Now, now is the time. So heed the call of the Spirit’s cry in your heart. Don’t say, “I’ll do it by and by.” But the time is now. Do not dread or fear. It is good. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Taste and see that the Lord is good!
Don’t think it’s too high a price. It’s nothing in comparison to the light and the glory that shall be revealed. Draw nigh unto Him. He shall draw nigh unto thee. Seek His face. He shall reveal Himself unto thee even in a greater way. And you shall rise up and you shall be enabled to be a far greater blessing. And your latter end shall exceed and it shall overflow and it shall be abundant in blessing and glory and grace. And the evil one that thought you to deter and thought to lie to you and keep you from it, you shall look at him and you shall say, “Ha, ha, ha, ha... Your plan did not work. Ha, ha, ha, ha… It did not succeed. Ha, ha, ha, ha… I did not believe it. Ha, ha, ha, ha… I obeyed… Ha, ha, ha, ha… I ran my course. Ha, ha, ha, ha… I finished my job. Ha, ha, ha, ha. I have accomplished His will and with His Glory I am filled. His grace, mercy and glory is with me day by day.
And those things that once held you, those things that for years, years, years, deceived you and held you out; you shall look at them from that higher place. And they shall seem nothing to thee. They shall seem small and despised in your eyes. You shall look upon them in dismay and you shall say, ‘Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.” You shall see far, ha, ha, ha, ha… And you shall know well, and you shall move sure, and shaken shall be hell. And their power shall be confused for His authority you’ve used. And that which they greatly feared shall have happened. For they feared, they feared that the revelation of truth would come into the earth. They feared that it would come through the heavenly host that would withstand it. They feared that someone would stand. They feared that someone would seek. They feared that some would penetrate into that realm.
When the revelation comes, the truth doth set the captives free. And that which they have greatly feared, it shall even come to pass. It’ll come to pass. God shall reveal His truth unto His people. Yea, we’ve rejoiced in the light. And we’ve seen a little bit. And we moved, but oh, there’s so much more. There’s so much more. And the enemy would have us just revel in what we see and what we know and not push and penetrate to hold fast to receive more. But it shall not be for a glimpse we do see. And we shall not be satisfied until the truth in our hearts abides. We shall not draw back and we shall not fear until we have it all that God would give year by year. Increasing glory to glory, light to light. Not doing it in the flesh, but by the good faith fight. A n d H i s p l a n s h a l l b e accomplished and His ways shall be straight. And then it shall be ready. He shall come. He’ll not be late. And His people shall have done His bidding and His people shall have heard His voice. And His Spirit shall have reaped the harvest through the church and His people shall rejoice. He calleth thee higher. Continue to look down on lowly things on the ground, but look up and see what He has reserved for thee. And by faith, let your heart reach out.
His Spirit lifts you up. Your heart has craved to know him. You shall know what your mind has hungered to know. You shall do what you were created to do.” end
Take Heed I encourage you to take heed to what the Holy Ghost said. Lay aside even legitimate things of this life to seek the higher life of the Spirit. Jesus said, “I have meat to eat that you know not of.” He yearns to make Himself real to you. I know it’s the Christmas season, but how you finish this year will determine how you start next year. Do you want to have the same old dry, dead things that have replaced His Spirit or do you want Him? I know you have to hear His voice way down in your Spirit. Take heed to Him and obey and the blessings of God will abound in your life. I will press in and follow Him and it will be a brand new day as I walk in His way. God is with us!
WHAT ABOUT 20192019 will bring about
things that have not been seen. It will be a time of prayer that will bring you into heavenly things. Seek His face, run your race and take your place.
