An Epistle from Paul:

Builds Strong Bodies – A market research interviewer was stopping people in a grocery store after they picked up their bread. One man picked up a loaf of Wonder Bread. The interviewer asked him, “Sir, would you be willing to answer a couple of questions about your choice of bread?” The man responded, “Yes, I’d be happy to do so.”

“Fine,” the interviewer said, “The question I would like to ask you is this: Do you think your choice of Wonder Bread has been at all influenced by their advertising programs?” The man looked shocked and said, “Of course not. I am not influenced by that sort of thing at all!”

“Well then,” the interviewer said, “could you tell me just why you did choose Wonder Bread?” The man replied, “Of course! Because it builds strong bodies eight ways!”

Let me use the above to illustrate the idea that none of us like to think we are being influenced by the world, but the fact of the matter is we are. James 4:4 “...do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” James 1:27 “This is pure and undefiled religion… keep oneself unstained by the world.”

Brethren and friend, how we need to build our lives around the Truth of God’s Word – because it builds strong Bodies in innumerable ways!!!

What Can We Do?!

It is time to sign up for camp. What can we do to encourage our parents of young people to urge their kids to take advantage of going to their week of Christian Service Camp? The church will be paying for the entire cost! A better deal will not be found anywhere! If you parents have any misgivings about the value and

good that will come from having your young people attend camp, put that to rest! It will be one positive experience… Get them signed up NOW!!!(by no means an exhaustive list)
