THE MIRACLE OF LIFE

FIVE WAYS ACUPUNCTURE CAN BOOST FERTILITY FOR WOMAN

1. Reduce stress hormones that interfere with ovulation.

2. Normalize hormones that regulate ovulation so an egg can be released.

3. Increase blood flow to the uterus, improving the chances of fertilized egg implanting.

4. Improve ovulation cycles in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which makes getting pregnant difficult.

5. Improve pregnancy rates in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF).

What is the relationship between acupuncturist & a medical doctor?

• Acupuncturists are independent health providers; you do not need a physician referral to receive treatment from an acupuncturist.

• However, for insurance purpose, such as NF, WC, some insurance companies require a referral from a physician such as your primary care provider

Testimonial

Page 34: An Ancient Art for Today’s Health Care World. Herbert K.Y.Lau, Ph.D.,L.Ac Credentials Ph.D. in Analytical /Clinical Chemistry. Master Degree in Acupuncture

Dear Dr. Lau

I’ve been suffering with migraine headaches for about 40 years. They started as a teenager and progressively get worse. One time, I counted them, they totaled 157 migraines in a year. It equates to missing 43% of my life in that year. Then, I met someone at work who had success with you. After 5 weeks of treatment, there was an improvement. I had a few migraines and they were much milder, yet

still I wasn’t convinced it was the acupuncture. I took the week off as suggested and had no migraines at all. The money was starting to feel less and less of an issue. I had the second set of treatments and the improvement was unbelievable. I haven’t had a sick day for migraine since March 12th. Occasionally, I feel like one might be coming, so I’ll take half of an Imitrex and continue with whatever I was doing. Then I’am fine. That hasn’t happened to me in 15 or 20 years. I hope every person who suffers from migraines reads this testimonial, because you don’t have to suffer like I did.

Sincerely yours,

Bernie Kester

In early June of 2010, I started having problems with stress, anxiety and depression. I have not had anything quite like this in many years and was concerned about it as it was affecting my job and life in general.I contacted Dr. Lau's office in late June. I was amazed at how much better I felt after just one treatment. I continued to go weekly for the first several weeks and now I am going every 2-3 weeks. I look forward to my treatment and will continue with monthly treatments.Thank you!Mary Lou HammPS. Mary Lou has low thyroid also.

To future patients of Dr. Lau's,I was having some panic and anxiety issues. My heart rate and blood pressure was at an unsafe level. After just one acupuncture session, I was able to sleep through the night. I have been seeing Dr. Lau for several weeks now and I have not had a panic attack since. My blood pressure and heart rate are now at a healthy level. I would highly recommend him for any issue that you may be having. Sincerely,Elizabeth Urbansk

I have had fibromyalgia for a year and a half or more with pain every day. The acupuncture that he did has relieved the pain on my first appointment . After the 10 treatments (two to three a week) for fibromyalgia, we then moved on to some hormonal balancing. I am in my mid 50's and feel better than I have in a long time. I will continue to visit Dr. Lau for an acupuncture treatment as needed.P. JonesDr. noted: fibromyalgia is characterized by pain, fatigue, sleep disorder, depression, anxiety, headache. She also has hypothyroidism.

September 10, 2013Dear Dr. Lau,I wanted to write a letter of appreciation to you for all you've done to help me conceive my first baby! At age 40, I knew that my time was growing short to have a baby and it would present some challenges due to my age. After trying for 8 months, five of which was with a reproductive endocrinologist, I came to you to help balance my body and to create an environment that would be conducive to getting pregnant. Along with acupuncture weekly for 1 month and bi-weekly for another month and the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine (the Jade Moon supplements) I became pregnant! Today I was able to see my baby's heartbeat and am so grateful to everyone who helped me on my journey to motherhood, especially to you for your kindness, humor and expertise!I will be telling others about my wonderful experience with you and your office.Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Michelle B. University at Buffalo

September 17, 2013Dear Dr Lau:I would like to thank you for helping me end my 5-year dependency on Omeprazole (Prilosec) taken for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). I was first diagnosed with GERD in 2008. After few treatment sessions I was able to wean myself off Prilosec and transition to Ranitidine (Zantac). And, now I am tapering Zantac as well. I could not be more pleased with my response to Acupuncture. I will continue to educate my colleagues of the benefits of Chinese Medicine in treating many common medical ailments.Regards,
