Secondary students must maintain and demonstrate an academic average of 65% to be eligible to renew their application. A most recent official YRDSB report card or transcript must accompany the renewal application.
All payments may be included in one bank draft or certified cheque, payable to York Region District School Board.
Add $500 to the total fee if applying after the deadline date.
REFUND There will be no refund of tuition fees in the following circumstances:
• if the student chooses to withdraw for any reason after a YRDSB official Letter of Acceptance has been issued, unless the student is refused astudy permit by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada)
• if the student is found in violation of YRDSB policies or the Student Code of Behaviour and is asked to withdraw from school

Administration fee: • A $500 administration fee is applied to all refund requests
If the immigration status of a student changes prior to or during the school year, contact the Reception Centre to have immigration documents verified. To request a refund of fees, please contact International Education Services. Please note that requests for refund will not be considered if received after October 15 for semester/term 1 or March 15 for semester/term 2. An administration fee of $500 will be deducted from each refund request.
If the insured is no longer a student of the YRDSB, a refund of the medical insurance fee may be requested directly from Ingle Travel & Health Insurance Services Inc., (1-888-386-8888) or by email at helpline@ingleinternational.com.
