Part 1

The Early Forms of Japanese Art

Jomon ArtJomon were some of the first settlers in Japan in . 11000 – c. 300

BC. These settlers spent a lot time being nomads exploring the area.

This is demonstrated in the early forms of art. They had a lot of

sculptures and clay figures.

Part 2

How were original art pieces displayed in fashion?

Early Japanese FashionEarly Japanese fashion was heavily influence by China. When China

and Japan started trading, Japan was introduced to Chinese style

dresses and clothing.

Part 3

How has the art scene developed in the past years?

Contemporary Japanese ArtJapanese art is profoundly deep and rich in roots and is influencing

art across the globe. They are pioneers in contemporary art by using

technology in their art, and demonstrating art at new heights.

Part 4

How has the fashion scene developed in the past years?

Modern Fashion Japan has started to incorporate western influence into their

fashion. They are beginning to take what they have learned from

western civilization, and have really demonstrated their knowledge

about this culture.
