CHURCH

What about the church?

• Is it possible to be a Christian and not go to church?

• Wrong question – we don’t go to church – we are the church!

CHURCH

What about the church?

• A Holy Temple• Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick,

stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home. Ephesians 2:22 (Message)

We are a group of men and women, both couples and singles, whose ages currently range from 30s to 60s, including those with children of primary school age.

Our group is mainly British but we would love to welcome those of other nationalities.

We meet on Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in Thorney.

OUR STORIES What have we been up to What’s coming up

We are now ready to plant LifeGroups in to Wisbech.

These will start on 25th February and we are very excited about it.

Jack and Jan Groat are going to lead this for us and already there are about 20 people interested in being part of the groups.

We had great fun during the Summer of Kindness. We adopted the garden of a 92 year old lady.

Teams of us pitched up and cut the hedge, weeded and pruned, laid bark and generally made it look neat and tidy.

Have a peep at the finished effect....

Judy and Tony: Moved to the Village 18 months ago – and love it.

Tracey was born in the Village and has been a Christian 4 years.

She went on the KingsGate Bulembu missions trip. Take a look at her picture

Dick was one of the original people who met in Loxley CommunityCentre more than 20 years ago.

5 people come from Wisbech.

“I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I signed up for the Missions Trip. What I did get was a totally life changing experience

I was taken totally out of my comfort zone and had to rely on God every step of the way.”

I loved it!!

This is the garden of the Nan of one of our LifeGroup. We had such fun digging, weeding, laying fresh bark and even discovering a path that everyone had forgotten existed. We will be going back in the summer to keep it tidy too.

• Life Groups – Are gatherings of around six to 12 people – Meet together during the week – Learn to live the Christian life together– Develop meaningful friendships.– Impact the local community

• How do I join a Life Group? – Is there a group near me? - Look at the profiles– Do you have friends already in a group?– Fill out the form, meet with the leader– Not compulsory that you stay in the first one– One of the best decisions you will ever make.– Don’t take my word for it!!
