WITH APPROXIMATELY 13 MILLION PEOPLE WITHIN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY, THIS CREATES A CONCENTRATED FOOTFALL ALONG THE RETAIL PARADE
a walk in the parkWest Walk lies within the London Borough of City of Westminster in the Bayswater area of London’s West End, to the West of Marylebone and Mayfair.
West Walk is the only retail destination that actually connects into Hyde Park. Our plans are inspired by this relationship and we will run a programme of initiatives that encourages fl ow into the estate from and to Kensington Gardens.

IN ADDITION TO THE WEST WALK PROPOSALS THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENTS ON QUEENSWAY BEING TAKEN FORWARD
Whiteleys Shopping Centre
Whiteleys Shopping Centre
Park Modern Residential Development by Fenton Whelan
In addition to the West Walk proposals there are a number of other signifi cant developments on Queensway being taken forward. Whiteleys Shopping Centre and the parade opposite was purchased in September 2013 by Meyer Bergman and received planning permission in April 2016 for a large scale redevelopment. Whiteleys anchors Queensway at the northern section of the Street and is a Grade II listed building currently trading as Whiteleys Shopping Centre.
The development will retain the historic façade and the Foster and Partners designed scheme provides a residential scheme with retail at it’s base.
Park Modern is a park side residential development facilitated by Fenton Whelan with views south over Kensington Gardens. The 0.4 acre site located at 117-125 Bayswater Road (together with 2 to 6 Queensway and 7 Fosbury Mews) has been granted planning permission for a new building comprising 3 basements, ground and 9 upper fl oors.
The scheme will provide 55 residential apartments with ancillary residential facilities, together with one retail unit, one restaurant unit, a small dentist surgery and a large spa and leisure unit.
