Dear Parishioners,
Greetings to all of you, I hope you are well.
It’s hard to believe we are approaching the end of September, but signs of parish life are growing all around us and it’s a good sign. On Saturday, September 11 we remembered all those lost in the tragedy of 9/11 in a special way at Mass. The weekend Masses had the greatest attendance since Easter.
Last Sunday as we celebrated Catechetical Sunday, we recognized again in a special way the Faith Formation leaders in our parish. They have already started the program for this school year with a good number of students in every grade. We showed our gratitude to them as they were designated to serve as Catechists in our parish.
Please remember in these days and pray for those who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, which will take place on October 3 at the 6pm Mass in our church.
Another item which is important in our parish life, and I found in the parish office that we still have Masses in 2021 available for reservation, (weekends and weekdays), you can offer this mass for a loved one, living or deceased. Please stop by or call the parish office to reserve a Mass for your intentions.
With my love and prayers.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Andrzej Jurkiewicz

Congratulations!
Every October, we consider more deeply why every human life is
valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from
conception to natural death. We are also in the midst of celebrating
the Year of St. Joseph. So, this year, we are looking to the witness
of St. Joseph as a defender of life. He didn’t hesitate to follow God’s
will of faithfully caring for and protecting Jesus and the Blessed
Mother. St. Joseph’s example reminds us that we are also to care
for, protect, and defend the lives of our brothers and sisters.
May we, too, be miracles in the lives of those who are most in need, especially at the beginning and
end of life. Dear St. Joseph, you who were “able to turn a problem into a possibility by trusting always in
divine providence” (PC 5), help us to imitate your faithful trust and courage.
