Basic Information• 7 Blocks
– A through G• Each block meets 4x per week.
– 7 x 4 = 28 total blocks• Some classes meet 2x per week and most meet 4x
per week.• Some classes meet for only one semester though
most are year-long.

Welcome! We?ve put together a program for the evening that we hope will give you a warm introduct ion to our school and answers to whatever specific quest ions you might have. During the week of 2/25, please review the videos posted on Newton North's website at https://www.newton.k12.ma.us/domain/1274 which will introduce you to some programs and courses offered, along with general information about NNHS. During the evening of the 28th, we ask all students to remain under the supervision of an adult . The idea is for parents/guardians and students to experience North offerings together.Agenda for the Evening:5:00pm-7:00pm Open House - Career and Technical Educat ion & Fine and Performing Arts Teachers and Students will be available in their spaces to answer quest ions.7:00pm-7:30pm Welcome Session - Auditorium - Hear from the Principal, the Dean of the Class of 2023, the Counseling Department Head and the Vice Principal. Then the Fine and Performing Arts Dept. Head will introduce you to our overall course select ion philospophy. 7:40pm-9:00pm Choice Sessions - Choose one of the opt ions below during each t ime slot. Each option below will be available in each session time slot. Session 1: 7:40 - 8:00pm, Session 2: 8:10- 8:30pm, Session 3: 8:40 - 9:00pm
