Downtown West Newton features many interesting

buildings from the turn of the century. Check out the

thrift store located in a circa 1820 riverboat captain’s

home. Stop by the boutique style jewelry store.

Dine at one of our iconic eateries and sip on a locally

brewed beer. Downtown walking tour brochures are

available at the Visitors’ Center, so cross the 1908 steel

bridge and check out a downtown undergoing a

revitalization.
