WHAT IS THE ECOTOURISM? Ecotourism is a kind of tourism which guards

the environment and defends local people’s rights, to be sensitive to the natural area. Ecotourism keeps the ecosystem.

In TIES’ s (The International Ecotourism Society) opinion, ecotourism is done with a little group. Services like accommodation and eating-drinking, usually, are taken from the small local firms.

ECOTOURISM The 2002 was

announced the Year of International Ecotourism by United Nations.

AIMS OF ECOTOURISM to spread the tourism to 12 months , to decrease the giving damages to the

natural and traditional environments, to guard the seas, lakes, rivers, forests,

botanics and animals, to be sensitive the natura and the

environment.

ECOTOURISTS have high revenues, have high educations, to be interested in gastronomy and

culture to be between 30-60 years old.

There are 500 types birds in Europe but in Turkey, there are 420 types birds.
