This food is eaten or sold after it is harvested.
Farmers may also grow raw materials for industrial purposes. Some examples of raw materials that are used in this way are:

Maize/corn for plastics or fuel

Some farmers also raise animals to be used for meat, milk, eggs or other things
Leave safety equipment in place, eg. brakes and guards.
Take keys out and put them out of reach of young children.
Lock away all chemicals.
Keep guns locked away and ammunition should be kept in a different place.
Make sure water areas, eg. dams, are fenced off and the gate locked (small children like water).
Make sure wells, tanks and swimming pools are covered over or fenced.
Leave ladders locked up or lying flat on the
sections of the country.
Laborers perform routine tasks that involve the care of animals and crop cultivation.
Their specific duties vary, depending on the kind of farm for which they work.
If they work for farms that raise animals, they may be in charge of feeding these animals and keeping the pens and barns clean. They also operate machinery, such as automatic milking machines or feed conveyors.
But how many people realize that detergents, X-ray film and crayons wouldn’t be here without farmers and their crops? How about tar paper, ink and tires?
