Located in the state of Wyoming.

Founded in 1872.

The first natural reservation in the world.

Home to hundreds of animal species (grizzly bears, bison and elk).

Old Faithful Geyser erupting almost every 91 minutes.

U.S. Interesting Places – Grand Canyon

Situated on the river Colorado.

It is 277 miles (446 km) long

18 miles (29 km) wide

A depth of over a mile (6,000 feet / 1,800 metres).

Situated on the border between the USA and Canada.

A monumental granite (žula) sculpture by Gutzon Borglum (1867–1941).
