Nicole Hendrickson and Kay Sibetta provided an overview of the Community Outreach and Volunteer Gwinnett programs, respectively. The “Volunteer Gwinnett: Make a Difference” video was shown. No Official Action Taken.

The Community Outreach Program administers a comprehensive outreach program that engages and involves diverse constituents in county government.

This has been achieved through: • Stakeholder meetings • Development of programs • Planning County-sponsored events • Collaborative partnerships

• Launched in April with 26 citizens • New class selected for the fall term

Dinner & Dialogue with Chairman Nash

Monthly dinner series held at various locations around the County: • To connect and build relationships with

residents in an informal setting to engage in meaningful dialogue about the County

• To provide an additional opportunity for citizen engagement in Gwinnett County
