ULTIMATE GOAL.Improve the quality of life by

increasing the access and standard of health care available in the developing countries of the Asia Pacific through the provision of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

INTERPLAST

Interplast sends teams of VOLUNTEER plastic & reconstructive surgeons, anesthetists and nurses to the Asia Pacific region to deliver programs of aid and development.

PROGRAMS

• 2 weeks

• Volunteer Medical Team

• All equipment and supplies

• Budget approx. $40K

WHERE WE WORK

• 23 Programs Delivered

• In 15 Countries

• Providing 967 Operations

• Delivering training to medical staff

• Involving over 120 volunteers

• Providing over $A 1.9 million worth of pro bono services.

TRAINING/DEVELOPMENT

• Invited over by the Ministry of Health

• Contribute to the development and training of plastic & reconstructive surgery

• Meet the needs of the country

Over 65 doctors and nurses have been sponsored to receive part of their training in Australia.
