Senior Class of 2017 Parent Night

Welcome!

Graduation•Graduation will be held in June (Date TBA).

•All students MUST have:

•Required credits

•Take all 4 EOCs

•Pass Alg 1 OR Alg 2; AND Geometry

•Take the ACT +Writing to walk across the stage and graduate

EARNING CREDITS

• 7 period day; each period lasts about 50 minutes. Credits are awarded in December and June.

• Each class you take is worth ½ credit per semester.

• You must pass each class with a D or higher in order to earn your ½ credit each semester.

• If you do not meet the specific credit requirements in each area (e.g., 4 credits of English), you cannot graduate.

October Intersession

•Hug is offering intersession for credit recovery

•Sessions will be held in the Career Center

•October 3rd-6th , 8am-1pm.

•Intersession is FREE!

Preparing for College!

•Every senior should take the ACT and SAT (College Entrance Exams).

•All students at Hug are able to take EACH test twice for FREE!

•Fall SAT dates: 11/5, 12/3.

•Fall ACT dates: 10/22, 12/10
