.And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

WHAT ARE THE MAJOR INDICATORS THAT PRECEDES THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS AND THE END OF TIMES?

Mat 24:32 "Learn from the story of the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and it sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.

Mat 24:33 In the same way, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the door.

Mat 24:34 "I can guarantee this truth: This generation will not disappear until all these things take place.

Mat 24:35 The earth and the heavens will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

FIRST was during the time of the Exodus where they were lead by Moses

Jer 29:10 This is what the LORD says: When Babylon's 70 years are over, I will come to you. I will keep my promise to you and bring you back to this place.

Jer 29:11 I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.

Jer 29:12 Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

Jer 29:13 When you look for me, you will find me. When you wholeheartedly seek me,

Jer 29:14 I will let you find me, declares the LORD. I will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I've scattered you, declares the LORD. I will bring you back from the place where you are being held captive.

Amo 9:8 I, the Almighty LORD, have my eyes on this sinful kingdom. I will wipe it off the face of the earth. But I won't totally destroy the descendants of Jacob, declares the LORD.

Amo 9:9 I'm going to give the order. I will sift the nation of Israel out of all the nations as if I were using a sieve. Not one pebble will fall to the ground.

Amo 9:14 I will restore my people Israel. They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink the wine from them. They will plant gardens and eat their fruit.

Amo 9:15 I will plant the people of Israel in their land, and they won't be uprooted again from the land that I gave them, says the LORD your God.

“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming I am the Christ, and will deceive many”

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom.”

Notice that Jesus speaks about two types of wars.

a. Nation against Nation b. Kingdom against Kingdom

The word “nation” in the Greek is the word “ethnos” from which we get the English word “Ethnic.”

The word “Kingdom” in the Greek is the word “basileia” (pronounced Baa-Silly-ah) and translates into something concrete. In other words something that has borders.

“There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”

The World Almanac tells us that;

There were only 21 earthquakes of major strength between the years 1000 and 1800.

Between 1800 and 1900 there were 18 major earthquakes.

Between 1900 and 1950, there were 33 major quakes.

Between 1950 and 1991 there were 93 major earthquakes

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

“At that time many will turn away from the faith.”
