Olives are native to Greece and Asia Minor; olive trees began to spread throughout the Mediterranean more than 6000 years ago, thus olives starting to form part of our Mediterranean diet. In fact, it was a staple food for Andalusian and Extremaduran peasants during the 19th and 20th centuries. For this reason, we present our Originals range, paying homage to all those years of tradition, preserving and production of olives.

At Olivias, the first thing we do is assess the results of the harvest, quality and sizes of the olives from the different areas of the Mediterranean. Since our varieties are collected in different areas such as Spain, Greece, Portugal, Egypt, every year is different due to the climate changes.

In the case of fat olives, which are the ones we use in our Original line, we have two places of production: Greece and Spain. Depending on how the campaign has gone (if there is quality and large sizes) they are acquired in one place or another.

Our production capacity is very high, more than 1,5oo.ooo kg per year and we distribute to any part of the country.
