The main Web-page of eLOGMAR-M Web – portal is presented at your attention here.

The interface language can be selected.

On the left you can see the Web portal Menu.

The next two options: “On-line Transport Request” and “Mobile Transport Request” allow to estimate cargo transportation rate and expected transit time.

The menu consists of the following main parts:

• “General Menu” provides the possibility of the registration for companies which are planning to work within the portal.• “Transport logistics” provides companies from Cargo Group the initial information of Shipping line, Block train and Road carriers services.

• The last part of Menu “Useful information” gives advantages to receive the basic information in Information Technologies and Mobile Solutions, Legislation and Regulation, Education and Training regarding to transport logistics area.

Option “Estimation of Services Level” provides a feedback of Users from Cargo Group regarding to service level of selected transport company.

To get an access to all portals’ functions User must fill in a Company Registration Form.

Yellow fields must be filled obligatory.

Entering data (User’s name and password) in Login area of Main menu User receives access to his personal working field.

User from Transport Group can operate with

the set of so-called “Forms of My Services”.

Option “My Services” allows to enter information regarding services and tariff rates of Transport Company taking into account transportation mode

(shipping line, block train, road, intermodal).

User from Cargo Group operates with “Estimation of Service Level”.

The example of a filled Form of My Services and Tariff Rates of Shipping Line promoted by the Agent of the Shipping Company is shown on the screen.

The Contact person fills in a needed type of currency and tariff rates boxes according to the type of a container.

All price quotation must be indicated in a validity date.

Data from previous form are saved as “My Services”.

This information can be further viewed, modified or deleted in accordance with identified “Selected Freight Route”.

Forwarder organizing cargo transportation by sea and rail has to fill in the appropriate form.

There are also the other forms for Block Train Operators, Road Carriers etc.

“Transport logistics” is the main part of the Web portal.

These functions

can be used by the

companies from Cargo

Group.

For example, if User selects the option “Shipping line services” and cargo is transported from the Port of Shanghai (China) to the Port of Tallinn (Estonia), the following information is reflected on the screen.

To get “Initial information”

(name of carriers,

schedule, expected transit

time, etc.) regarding cargo transportation along selected freight route, User has to enter simple

request.

In a similar way User can receive “Initial information” related to “Block train services”.

Selected freight route is Klaipeda / Draugiste (Lithuania) - Illichivsk / Paromnaja (the Ukraine).

Users from Cargo Group can use the option “On-line Transport Request” to receive price of transportation and time of cargo delivery.

For instance, User is going to

transport “Glass in two 20’

containers from the Port of

Shanghai (China) to the Port of

Tallinn (Estonia)”.

On-line Transport Request

consists of four basic steps.

The first step (Transport Route) identifies points of departure and destination.

The second step (Cargo description) defines characteristics of Cargo and Terms of delivery.

The third step (Criteria for selection) allows to selected basic and additional criteria which are more important for User from Cargo Group.

These are the Contact data of a person (Customer) who has formed the On-line Transport Request.

The fourth step is Contact.

After filling in On-line Transport Request User receives the full request (all four steps) on the screen.

User can check, modify and calculate (submit) filled On-line Transport Request.

The results of the processing of presented of On-Line Transport Request are on the screen:

• there are four potential carriers

(transport companies);

• User from Cargo Group can

select more suitable carrier

taking into account “Full transportation

rate” or “Expected transit

time”.

Besides two basic criteria User from Cargo group can also receive on a screen information which characterises services level of potential carrier in accordance with selected so-called “soft” criteria

in the form of hystograms.

It helps him to make final decision selecting more suitable cargo carrier.

Basic criteria:

• Full transportation

rate,

• Expected transit time.

“Soft” criteria:

• cargo safety,

• reliability,

• readiness for negotiations,

• quality of transport service,

•stability of services.

Option “Mobile Transport Request” imitates the possibility of mobile access to Web portal by using PDA (Pocket Digital Assistant).

User from Cargo Group enters simplified version of On-Line Transport request so-called Mobile Transport Request.

A reply to Mobile Transport Request reflects only a basic idea of cargo transportation rate.

If User is interested in it, he can connect to Web portal and receive necessary information in more details.

Every visitor has an access to portal’s “Useful Information”.

Type of solution and country should be selected to search the solutions.

Information about IT & Mobile solutions can be obtained.

Found IT & Mobile solutions corresponding to the selected type and country.

In a similar way, “Useful Information” about Legislation & Regulation can be obtained.

Guide category and country should be selected to make a search.

Found Guides corresponding to the selected type and country.

The third kind of “Useful Information” - Education & Training.

Country and Program category should be selected to make a search.
