OGA 2011The recent Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) 2011 – which spanned a mammoth 17,000sqm at the
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre – saw some 20,700 trade visitors from 68 countries attend the biennial gathering of industry giants.
Running its 13th showcase, OGA 2011 attracted 1,560 participating companies from 45 countries, with representation from across Asia as well as Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Norway, The Netherlands, the UK and USA. The newest technology and latest developments in Oil & Gas were unveiled here, and exhibitors included the likes of Aker Solutions, Cameron, Delcom, Dialog, Gazprom, GL Nobel Denton, Global Process Systems, Mobil Industrial Lubricants, Neu Dimension, Olio Resources, SapuraCrest, Sclumberger, Scomi, Siemens, Sime Darby, Tanjung Offshore, Technip and UMW Oil & Gas.
A notable part of this event was Subsea Asia 2011, a world-class conference that saw high-ranking and distinguished speakers from across the globe offer their viewpoints on new and existing subsea technology.
OGA 2011 was officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Dato’ Muhyiddin Yassin, and it once again proved to be a tremendous networking and learning platform, thereby cementing its role as the region’s No.1 Oil and Gas Show for exhibitors and visitors.
