Sherman, Tex., sent a switch key to the Magazine bepart- rnent, which was accompanied by an Interesting story.

W, A. Franks, bridge carpen- ter m t Sherman, turned the key back to the stbre department aa it was worn out. He said that on May 1, 1904, he waa sent to the Southwestern di- visiorr to relieve a Mr. Kinlock as bridge foreman and Mr. Kin- lock gave hlm the Frisco stand- ard switch key and told him that he had been uslng this same key for 20 years, so the key had been in active service lor about 50 years.
