The Mid West is a vast region located about 400 kms north of Perth in Western Australia and up to 700 kms to the east from the Indian Ocean.

The three regions that make up the Mid West are Batavia Coast, comprised of the City of Greater Geraldton and smaller coastal communities, the inland agricultural communities of North Midlands and the remote Murchison.

The data are from the Australian Bureau of Statistics and most tables were created using TableBuilder Pro.

The work was done by demographer Ann Larson of Social Dimensions with support from the Regional Development Australia Mid West and Gascoyne Council.
