What’s the purpose of academic advising?

(and why are you required to go)

We’re here to help guide you.

“I want to change my major”

“What are the pre requisites?”

“Should I add a minor?”

“I was debating between two health careers”

“Should I do study abroad?”

“What if I’m not accepted into my program?”

“Can I get a job with that major?”

“What major would be best for my health career?”

The better we know you, the more helpful we can be.

“My parents don’t think I should do this”

“What volunteer work should I do?”

“What if I fail a test?”

“What if I withdraw from a class?”

Our goal in the Office of Pre-Health Advising

Is to make you competitive for your health profession
