Grade Calculation Types
How do you want the grade book to average the grades for your
students?
Cumulative Points – Teacher adds up the Total Points Earned and divide by Total Points Possible.
Assignment % Averages –Teachers enter assignments with either points or percentages. The system
will add up all of the %’s for all assignments and divide by the number of total assignments.
Assignment % Averages with Category Weights – Teachers are able to apply weights to different
categories of assignments graded. The system will add up all of the %’s within a category and then apply
the category weight. Once the grades for the categories are calculated, then all of those numbers are
added to get the final grade.
