What is Podcast?
Wikipedia - A podcast is a media (usually audio) file distributed by subscription (paid or unpaid) over the Internet for playback on mobile devices and personal computers
Podcast subscribers can receive new files automatically through an aggregator, such as Apple’s iTunes software

Podcast production
• Some experience :– Live recording convenient but produces long
clips– Editing effort could be large– Scripted recording depends on the language
skill and (subject knowledge) of the narrator– Clips should be limited to 10 minutes or less

TDG Sharing Session - Podcast
Preliminary Conclusions• Basic use is convenient and handy but more
intense applications require careful planning• Students showed interest in using Podcast
but use of mobile device for learning is less than expected
• Students to produce their own Podcasts has not been explored
• More data analysis is still being done
