Brilliant Club
Our Brilliant Club scholars have met with their PhD
tutor one last time to prepare the final draft for their
Literary Theory essays.
The Brilliant Club is a charity that encourages able
young people to consider university as an option for
their future. A group of Nova students were selected
for the Scholars’ Programme. Over the past 12 weeks
they have attended a launch trip to a highly selective
university; worked in school with a PhD tutor on an
academically challenging subject area, and
completed a final assignment of 3000 words which is
marked to degree standards. They are now awaiting
the results of their submissions.
Amy (10N1) has qualified for the second time to represent Team England in the Dance World Cup. Previously
attending Romania 2015, this year she will be representing England in Sitges (Barcelona), Spain. Amy and 34 other
dance team members from Swindon Academy of Dance, will join 5,800 dancers from 46 countries to compete
against each other. Having completed the audition process at the end of last year, Amy will compete in 4 different
categories during the week, hoping to gain places and points towards England being crowned the overall
winner. This is a fantastic achievement and we will keep you posted with how she and Team England get on.
Amy represents England en España!
Food modelling in Art
Year 7 students have created some mouthwatering creations in their Art lessons, which are on display in A wing.
The models are so realistic, can you see any real food?
