The training is taken at Logistics Services SBU of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., Chennai. Through a detailed study, I got to know the history, functional areas and performance of the organization. The training covers practical exposure to Air cargo import process and documentation thereby providing me with a very good opportunity to understand the internal working environment of the organization. The scope of the training program is confined to Import process with respect to Air Cargo in Balmer Lawrie – Logistics Services. This is a preliminary work study for those students who prefer to take up their main project work in any Logistics Industry.
