English This year we have participated in many activities that have improved

our reading, writing and speaking and listening skills.

In English I have been working hard and

doing my best .

I have learnt more this year

My reading is much better so is my writing ,

speaking and listening.

Is been so much fun doing story writing

ispesely my royal disaster story . we have

also been learning phonograms we are the

only class out of the 3/4s who have learnt

them.

Mathematics In mathematics this year I have learnt…

In math I have learnt a lot . We have

learnt about addition subtraction

multiplication and a little bit of division. It’s

been so much fun.

Music Visual Art

Music I have learnt a lot about music it’s been lots of fun

doing drama, singing and dancing . I have also

learnt how to play the piano and there is a piano

sirya that I will be playing in. Mrs Griffes has been

a wonderful music teacher. She and mrs k have

made a 3 to 6 school concert my class 3/4A were

doing a song called dancing in the streets then the

girls sang locomotion and the boys sang the little old

lady from Pasadena it was so much fun !

Mrs k our art teacher is a great one

she teaches as lots of things about art .

The Way Things

Work

Communication In term 1 the 3/4s were learning

about communication we learnt lots

of different way to communicate like

Morse code , using ponies and lots of

ways. It was lots of fun!!!!!!! Old phone New phone

Are We There Yet?

In term 3 we learnt about Australia. We

did lots of things like when we had to

choose 10 states like Sydney ,

Melbourne and so on. I enjoyed doing

this.

The Way Things Work

In term two we learnt about simple

machines like pulleys, gears, wheel and

axles, lever and wedges.

Weather

We learnt about hurricanes, tornadoes and where

they came from.

We made weather instruments like wind socks,

anemometers and a barometer.

We learnt about air pressure. This is us

standing on a table with balloons under it.

We fit 13 people on

before a balloon popped

Media Roadshow On the 15/14th on of march all the 3/4 class had a

Media Roadshow.

There was a green screen that makes

background's. Holly-Mae Yasmin and me all did the

Vegemite song. Jemma was the host. IT WAS

AWOSOME!!!!!

Learning By Doing

On the 6th / 7th of June the 3/4s had a

Build a Crane incursion. The man’s name

is John he is very funny and clever.

BILLY CART INCURSION

On Friday the 1th of June the whole class had a billy

cart Incursion in the hall. The mans name is Mark we all got design a billy cart we got to build a billy

cart and ride one, it was AWSOME!!! We also got to

make what ever we want using bolts and nuts . We

all enjoyed it. This is me and my friends.
