TRANSCRIPT
(Slides 1-6 meant to be quick sequence leading to title).
Front sight assembly fades into view with parts slowly
moving together. Slight camera rotation. 2-3 seconds.
Camera switches to sight block assembly coming
together. 2-3 seconds.
Camera switches to interior pieces all coming together.
2-3 seconds.
Gun blurs, title animates in. Some kind of stylistic title
sequence? (Do previous scenes take too long before we
see title?)
Trigger is pulled, bolt and bolt carrier fade (or cut away?)
to reveal ring pin. Captions animate on. Hammer strikes
ring pin, which strikes back of bullet.
Camera zooms back out with cutaway of barrel (Sketch &
Toon? or Boolean cut?) Shows bullet moving through
barrel.
Show how bullet casing is expelled from bolt/bolt carrier
as it moves backwards.
Camera switches to other side. As bolt moves forward,
the lower lug strips a new round from the magazine.
(Should other scenes show this opposite side of gun?)
Gun blurs and fades. “AUTOMATIC FIRING” text animates
on. (Should I put SEMI-AUTO FIRING in a previous slide?)
Camera zooms to wider shot. Magazine fades to reveal
bullets loading. Gun res 4-5 rounds in auto-mode
slowed down just slightly.
Fade to black. Roll credits.
Camera zooms out slightly, all parts fade back into view.
Gun still ring.
Camera rotates slightly to side. Selector is moved to
automatic ring mode.
Camera switches back to previous side. Sear, hammer,
bolt carrier, & trigger move to original position. Ready to
re next bullet.
Show how bolt carrier resets hammer temporarily with
disconnector. Sear keeps hammer from moving up.
Camera zooms to close-up view of 7.62x39 bullet. Cuts
away to show what happens inside when ring pin
strikes it.
Expanding gases from the propellant travel through the
gas port, forcing the gas piston backward.
Title fades away, gun comes into focus. Camera zooms to
up close shot of trigger. Receiver & cover transition to
wireframe (Sketch & Toon?), revealing inside of gun.
Camera switches to wide shot. Final pieces move into
place.
Before parts fully into place in previous scene, camera
switches to stock assembly coming together.
2-3 seconds.
Camera switches to magazine coming together.
2-3 seconds.
