Their view of the future is very pessimistic. What do you think your future will be like?
The task…
Write about your hopes for the future and your ambitions. You will have to perform a three minute presentation on what you hope to achieve by the time you are thirty. You will get extra credit for research (for example; using conexxtions in school, in the town centre, or online to find out the qualifications you need for your chosen career, you could also find people who are doing the job you would like to do and find out how they achieved their ambitions.
Your presentation can include the following…
• What difference do you want to make in the world?• What career do you think you would like to go into?• What jobs do you want to do along the way?• Which countries do you want to visit?• Do you want to go to university?• Do you think you will get married?• What do you think your first car would be?• What experiences would you aim to achieve?• What do you want to buy?• What do you think you will be like?
