Aqua et civitas

In old Persian the first word in the dictionary is ab, meaning water, from which comes the derivative concept of civilization abadan.

Climate and climate change, related to rain fall, had a decisive importance in the rise and fall of civilizations.

Water has been and continues to be used for two principle objectives – irrigation and urban consumption.

The integrated management of the different water resources (superficial, aquifer and wastewater) is essential.

In Roman (151 aC.- 410) and Arab (711-1250) times the highest standards of water management were achieved.

Nowadays, we are in a period characterized by the waste and abuse of water …

Wastewater increase the crops grow, while reduce fish, shell fish and water quality.Wastewater reuse represents the alternative to the sewage outlets at sea, rivers and lakes.
