• Improve the character and setting of the city.

• Reduce the cities environmental impact.

• Increases walking and cycling opportunities.

• Reinforce and extend our cities strengths.

• Focus on the unloved locations and repair what is weak.

• Build where people want to live, work and play.

• Use underutilised industrial sites and car parks for residential development.

• Intensify densities both within the city centre and suburbs.
