We encourage everyone to join a committee !!!The committees to choose from are:• Community Service• Event Planning• Kerr Hall REAL Community • Fundraising

Things to look for…• Home Coming this Saturday October 22nd(If you

signed up to work a shift please make sure you are on time)

• Career Center Etiquette Dinner will be on Thursday October 27,2011 be held from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. in the Gateway Center Ballroom

• Boo Bash will be held on October 28,20011 starting at 5:30 in the Union

Things to look for … Cont.

• Student Guests We will be hosting a group of about 10-20 4-H kids from Slidell ISD coming next Tuesday, October 25 from about 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. We need one more volunteer to host this group (preferably a hospitality major) to walk the group from Gateway to Chilton.

• Canned food collection All of the canned food collected will go to Our Daily Bread ,here in Denton. (Cans can be dropped of in Mrs. Wilson’s office Chilton 355A )

• For those of you who may be interested Make a Difference Day will be on October 29th ,and will be a good way to get your additional 3 hours of community service

Important dates in November are:• The Holiday Jewelry Sale will be on November 1st

and 2nd from 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m. Our selling station will be located on the 3rd floor of Chilton Hall in the hallway to the North side of the advising offices.

• Merchandising Sample Sale will be held on November 10th in the first floor of the union from (9:00a.m.-2:15p.m.) Volunteers helping will also need to attend a mandatory training on Tuesday, November 8 at 8:30a in Chilton 345.

• ‘NT Preview Day will be on Saturday, November 19. We will need volunteers to help sometime between 10a-2:30p
