GENERAL FEATURES
Single phase capacitor - star motors type 1.ZKM
These motors are characterized by high starting torques, whichprovides good starting even at a voltage much lower than therated one.Formotorstartinganauxiliaryphasewithcapacitor isused.Thisphase is automatically switched off by means of centrifugalswitch.The capacitor is an electrolytic one for ambient temperaturefrom - 25 °C to +50 °C. The permissible number of starting is 20per hour with duration of one starting of 3 sec.These motors are very suitable for a work in agriculturalmachinery, such as mills, crushers and various combinedmachines.
Single phase permanent -split capacitor motors type 1.ZKC
These motors are characterized by low starting torques, quietand noiseless operation.For motor starting an auxiliary phase is used with paperpermanent - split capacitor. The auxiliary phase and capacitorare for continuous operation.These motors are suitable for unloaded starting such as drillingmachines, saws, mowers, fans, etc.
Single phase permanent - splitcapacitor motors with special rotor type 1.ZKCS
The characteristics of these motors are similar to the motors of1.ZKCtype,butdue tospecial rotor theyhave increasedstartingtorque.Due to increased torque these motors are suitable for mediumstarting conditions, such as concrete mixers, pumps andcompressors which start unloaded..
Single phase capacitor - start andpermanent - split capacitor motors, type 1.ZKMC
Good features of motor 1.ZKM and 1.ZKC are united in thesemotors. They are intended for difficult starting conditions andprovide very quiet and noiseless operation.During starting both capacitors are switched on and after thestarting only paper capacitor remains switched on.They are suitable for pumps, compressors and agricultural,machines.
Three - phase motors forsingle phase application, type 1.ZKJ
These motors can be used like a single or three-phase motors.This kind of motors develops small starting torques andtherefore they are suitable for the same types of workingmachines as the 1.ZKC motors.

Our motors carry CE mark as a sign of a product conformity tothe requirements of all applicably directives of European Union,especially concerning safety, life and health protection,environment protection and consumer protection:� Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC, modified by

VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCYThe motors are produced for the rated supply voltage 1 x230V �10%, 50 Hz. This means that upon request of thestandards this motor can operate at supply voltages:
220V � 5%.
230V �10%.
240V � 5% -15%.
On special request motors can be manufactured for othervoltages and frequencies.
OUTPUT
Rated motor outputs given in the performance data tablesrefers to continuous running duty. According to that themotors must be connected to the supply network of theindicated voltage and frequency and the ambienttemperature must mot exceed 40 °C. Motors for specialoperating conditions: temperature above 40°C, altitudeabove 1000 m ASL, frequent starting or starting heavyflywheel masses are available on a special request.
SPEED
Rotation seed given in the performance data tables refers tothe rated voltage and load of motor. Motors are designed forsynchronous speeds 3000 and 1500 min
-1. Motors type
1.ZKC, 1.ZKJ are produced for a smaller speed on therequest.
MECHANICAL PROTECTION
According to IEC 60034-5 the mechanical protection ofmotor is IP54.The terminalbox isbuiltwithprotectiondegreeIP 55, by which is disabled penetration of water jet into it.

The motors are designed for three basic mountingarrangements: IM B3 (IM 1001), IM B5 (IM 3001) and IM B14(IM 3601) - only up to shaft height 112.All mounting arrangements are in accordance with IEC60034-7.

The bearings for our motors are lubricated for life andregreasing is not possible. The standard used greases arelithium based.

COOLING
The motors are surface cooled with their fan, protected byseparate cover. Fans are made of polypropylene, and onspecial request the motors can be delivered with metal fan.
WINDING INSULATIONThe motor windings are designed with insulation in class “F”.This system of insulation is suitable for temperature rise limit of105 K above the ambient temperature of 40 °C. Motor heatingmeets the insulation in class “B” (80 K).
ROTOR AND SHAFT EXTENSIONRotors are cage type, normally designed with one cylindricalshaft extension. On special request it is available with two freetaper shaft extensions and other special shaft extensions. Thedimensions of free shaft extensions are in conformity with theIEC 60072-d1, fifth edition.
The central box of the shaft extension is given in dimensiondrawings. In order to keep load of bearings and of shaftextensionwithin theallowed limits, theremustbepaidattentionto the radial and axial forces and to the type of transmissionfrom a motor to a working machine.
TERMINAL BOX
The motors are designed with terminal box on the top.Markings of the terminal box in accordance with the IEC60034-8. The main terminal box data are shown in table incontinuation of the brochures.
TORQUE CLASS
The motors of this brochure satisfy the smallest startingtongue according to the IEC 60034-1. Under full voltage thesmallest tongue is 0,3 times the indicated torque.
NOISE
The motors satisfy the noise level in accordance with the IEC60034 - 9. The noise levels shown in the following table refer toano-loadmotorat the indicatedvoltage,50Hz,cooling type IC411andmechanical protection IP54.Tolerance is+3dB(A).

THERMAL PROTECTION
On a special request stator windings of the motor can beprotected thermally by using P.C. thermistors, that is withautomatic switching on again or without automatic switchingon again. These first ones are embedded in the winding head,and the others are embedded on. the side of terminal box. Inthe same way this protection can be carried out also withembedding the semi - conductors, so called P.C. thermistors,according to IEC 60034-11.The ends of these thermistors are lead out in the terminal boxand connected to the switching-off unit, which can bedelivered together with the motor. Besides, the motors can beequipped with additional thermistors for alarm.
HEATERS
The motors can be equipped with heaters as a protectionagainst condensed water. They could be exposed to dangerof water condensation due to sudden and large changes oftemperature during the motor stand still. During the motoroperation the heaters must be switched off. The supplyvoltage and power of heating elements, which are fixed to thewinding head are shown in the following table:

FINISH PAINTING
Standard finish painting of the motors is performed byprotective alkyd paint RAL 7001. For special climateconditions according to IEC 60721-21 painting is performedby epoxy paint.
PACKING
The motors are packed normally in cardboard boxes.
