• Consider the light levels

• Consider trip hazards and remove or highlight

• Provide instructions for lighting or automate

• Display postcode

• If you are concerned take immediate action – if you are wrong, it won’t matter

• Use a personal alarm to shock and momentarily confuse

• Move quickly and assertively

• Keep your phone & car keys easily accessible (on your person) – set the car to only open the driver door and always park the car facing the direction you want to travel

• Always report any incidents to relevant people e.g. Colleagues, Police etc.
