Aims of the nurse project

• To develop, deliver and encourage nurse based interventions to maximise the length and quality of life of heart patients– Pilot models of nurse led interventions in specialist

areas– Develop professional training and networks for

specialist heart nurses– Develop and promote evidence-based standards

and practice for nurse led services– Promote and encourage the implementation of

tested nurse service models
