disbursed to the needy momineen within 24

TAANK WATER PROJECT-COMPLETED

Garh Baloch , town near Taank (NWFP)

600 families reside here ,comprising 4000

momineen.

200 year old settlers.

The area was blocked from 3 sides by yazidi

taliban.

Water was only available in yazidis‟

strongholds.

Resultantly many momineen were Martyred or

Kidnapped in routine while fetching water for

their homes .

The heart rending account of the inmates was

received to SFP via a letter from Taank.

SFP entrusted the responsibility to Al-Shaheed

Welfare to drill for water well.

COMPLETED

Mass Contacts and Appeals were made throughwebsite and on SMS.

Alhamdulillah like a miracle within a couple ofmonths or so the project finished successfullyand costed Rs.16 Lacs in November 2009.
