Finishing Instructions – August 17, 2011

Approximate Fabric Amounts needed to complete your Project of Doom Quilt. These are suggested instructions only. Please finish your quilt any way that pleases you.

Layout Option 1:

• Dark Fabric – 1 yard• Border Fabric – 1 ¼ yard

Strips needed for this layout. Please note that strips will need to be pieced:Dark Fabric

• 5 – 1 3/4” x 50 1/2”• 2 – 1 3/4” x 52 1/2”• 2 – 1 3/4” x 67”

Border Fabric• 2 – 4 1/2” x 52 1/2”• 2 – 4 1/2” x 76 1/2”

Layout Option 2:

• Dark Fabric – 2 yards• Border Fabric – 1 ½ yard

Strips needed for this layout. Please note that strips will need to be pieced:Dark Fabric

• 23 – 2 1/2” x 10 1/2”• 5 – 2 1/2” x 58 1/2”• 2 – 2 1/2” x 62 1/2”• 2 – 2 1/2” x 70 1/2”

Border Fabric• 2 – 4 1/2” x 62 1/2”• 2 – 4 1/2” x 82 1/2”

For PoD Weeks 21 and 22, piece those two blocks together and add either 2 1/2” x 10 1/2” of background fabric or book fabric. Those two blocks do not have sashing between them.
